Yea, it’s just that I feel like the last card on hard will take so many extra coins it isn’t worth it for me. So I use the loot card and then accept defeat.

What I’ve been doing to save some coins is do occasional hard decks and try and get a loot card and save it until the end to use. I’ve gotten a few bullions that way. Then I won’t even spend all the coins required to beat the final card. Just use my loot card, get the bullion and call it a day.

Rivals were great for me. I didn’t finish any, but didn’t spend diamonds and still got a ton of additional progress and three level 1 gator things which are still awesome buildings that replaced some of my other stuff. Even if you don’t spend, they are still quests for free stuff.
