I have 19 farms. I did ALL the quests in ALL of them, assuming, as always, that Inno would offer the wishing wells at the end of the event. But no. Not this time. Now I have spent all that time and energy and will get nothing that I actually wanted from the event. So much for working for what you want, eh?
It's amazing how many ways you can find to waste your players time and piss them off... it really is. Do they offer degrees in that somewhere in Germany? I am done with your stupid events. No more.
To counterbalance this opinion:
I worked really hard and compelted 50+ event quests in one city(I ended up not investing the time to quest grind my 9 secondary cities, barely managed to make it through on my main). I logged in the other day and was surprised that the daily was the Thanos upgrade, but decided I would spend energy drinks later.
I never logged back on.
Next day, I realized the mistake, faceplamed and decided I'd finish the events and see if any of the last day specials will be SoK or what have you.
I'm disappointed (thus far) with my rewards from the event, but that stems mostly from my goof. I could of been in the same situation today if the upgrade was never offered or if RNG blessed me with 0-1 upgrades. Regardless, I'm not very upset with Inno, because I see events as giving opportunities for rewards, they do not entitle me to them.
I doubt it has anything to do with degrees or Germany. These type of events are pretty normal across many games, especially freemium types. I blame the system. To be fair, you did work really hard, but did you not begin work knowing that the only guaranteed payoff was the quest reward track? If not, what assumptions did you make that lead to your result? Is there a more equitable design solution you think Inno should take with events and would you be willing to share them? Or are you just demanding you get what you feel you are owed?
