How do I play GvG on a phone? I am told I should change the setting to GCM. I do not see that option

Your best option is a program called "Puffin browser" You can get it on your phone and it will mimic a desktop PC for you.How do I play GvG on a phone? I am told I should change the setting to GCM. I do not see that option

It's been a little wonky, and it's not going to get you up to competitive speed in GVG. To be a contender you need to get a PC, the puffin is better for map watching.
The FOE mobile app doesn't support GVG, and they have no plans to change that (as far as I know)

Keep in mind that FoE was not designed with this browser in mind at all. And believe me, GvG is not worth the trouble.Your best option is a program called "Puffin browser"

I've tried both Puffin and Photon, another mobile browser that supports Flash. Fail on both accounts.
The reason is that you are immediately forwarded to the Google Play store and then if you have the app installed to the app. I don't know how to prevent the automatic forward and at the end of it you are back on square one without GvG.
Others have posted in the UK forum (http://bit.ly/2DxDvdn) that you should use a different URL like https://en.forgeofempires.com/page or g https://us.forgeofempires.com/page but it still does not work.
Does anyone know a workable solution to play GvG on a mobile or tablet?

Perfect, thanks. This works. For other who didn't know about it, on Puffin under Settings and Website preference, set to Request desktop site.

Interesting. I've used Puffin intermittently for about a year. While its not fast, I've found that right around reset when lag is the worst it can actually be a hair faster than PC. Otherwise yes, a bit slower.
