I am in LMA and have conquered the first continent map, will anything bad happen if I move on to the industrial map while still in LMA. Will I lose a reccuring quest screw up my story quests or something?

Those two quests when finished unlock the Industrial Bonus Quest line, which causes you to lose your 2nd recurring quest slot, and can't be finished until you are in the Industrial Era. Therefore once triggered you are back to one recurring quest slot.

I think you can still do Garrincton, but I believe they are connected, and don't have the information at hand, so advised staying away from it. Someone else might be able to clarify better. I do know that Los Penas is poison for questers in lower eras.
