Egyptian specific roadmap anyone ?

Hi ,

I am looking for a walk through of the general idea for the fastest way to get through a round in Egypt. I tried following MooingCat but it was 1 step forward and 3 steps back in this 3 hour monstrosity and I couldn’t make any sense of it. Preferably written out and not a video please.

Aside from the above the key for me was to get two Nubian Archer barracks (and no others) as soon as possible and fight manually. That let me do the easy and middle difficulty fights basically every day and the hard most days.

Road and 5 houses
1 grain building
1 training barracks (delete as some a quest satisfied)
win 1 fight
build 2 more houses
build 1 archer barracks
build 1 more grain
make 10 grain
Use 1 then 5 grain to buy 2 expansion squares.
thats how I start Egypt and I’ve done it 36 times getting the gold reward every time just planted my 9th ancient obelis.
next build enough houses to put up 1 more archer barracks

so you’ll now have 2 archer barracks and 2 grain buildings.

That should get you off to a good start. Just a matter of doing what th quests tell you to do.
