Would like a better explanation of what the permissions do exactly than what I have found. What I find are incomplete definitions usually and are of no help. So here is a list of them and they can just be filled in by people that know. FoE's explanations are severely lacking in this area, or are so well hidden that I have yet to find them. Thanks for your help.

"Trusted" : Gives the member access to the hidden Guild-forum tabs, and in Guild versus Guild, it allows a player to place a siege, spend good from the guild treasury, move the Headquarters, and grant freedom to sectors

"Notifier" : Gives the member the opportunity to write Mass-mails to all Guild-members in one go, called "Guild-messages".

"Inviter" : Gives the member the opportunity to send invitations to other players, to join the Guild.

"Moderator" : In the guild-forums, gives the member the "power" to edit and delete other members posts and move or delete topics.

"Leader" : Enables the rights of all of the above + the opportunity the alter the rights of other members +
the opportunity to dismiss/kick a member from the Guild + becomes a Guild-Forum Administrator + seeing activity dots on members + allows you to change non-leaders/non-founder's titles (a.k.a. comment fields)

"Founder" : Enables the rights of all above + allows the opportunity to promote and demote other founders and leaders + the opportunity to dissolve the Guild

Leader and above can also see the activity buttons, in the Members List, that are yellow after 2 days and red after 8 days.

Founders can change the comment field, in the Members List, which we use to indicate WHEN somebody's button turned red.

I call them titles, but founders can change anyone's while leaders can only can change non-leaders/non-founders.

Added activity dot to my description

What are the red and yellow activity buttons? What does it mean?

We need to identify guild deadbeats to boot. Is "activity" defined as participating in GEs or logged in and did stuff in their city?

DeletedUser26120

Every guild has their own rules but generally it's:

m/p daily
complete at least 16 GE encounters (some guilds require 24 or 32 or even all 48)
donate 1fp to all gbs in stix, whether up or not

Some guilds have more rules, some less but those three are almost always present. It's enough to weed out anybody who is overly inactive or just not contributing to the guild.

Also some guilds require a donation of X goods weekly to unlock player's GE if they don't have observatory, atomium, or arc.

Thank you for the guidelines for continued guild membership. My question is more technical. Does the guild activity dot turn red after 7 days of city inactivity or after 7 days of no GE participation?

It is 7 days of complete inactivity. The dots were around long before GE. Some mistakenly believe it refers to aiding or other such nonsense, but it is simply a playing/not playing thing. Hope that clears it up.
