Question? If two houses are burning, neither deserves the firefighter's attention...or is it both of them deserve it...or is it one or the other deserve it, but if the last is correct then which one? And is that decision based on "fairness"? Or is it one house that is on fire and the neighbors just want attention? Demanding one deserves attention over all others isn't a message of equality; it's one of domination.

Firemen should respond to both fires if the fires are in their jurisdiction. However, if one fire has the potential to spread to other houses, then that fire should get the most manpower to prevent the spread. The color, creed, national origin, etc of the house owners/occupiers should have nothing to do with firefighting.

Agreed Lady Gato. When the Australian Bushfires came the firefighters door knocked on every house in the suburbs and dug trenches around every rural house to protect the people even on those the fire never reached because the fire was a threat to those houses. There was no holding back on who should be helped because you can’t treat fire as if it’s in a vacuum. You have to be aware of the effect on your surroundings
