20 Camelot Coin Limit in Event

Antikythera

Yeah, I'm sure there was a blurb about this somewhere, I'm sure that there's some really, really important reason for it and I'm sure we all know exactly what that reason boils down to.

It is especially wonderful that there's no notice to the player that coins are being wasted. They just silently disappear.

There's a term for this kind of nonsense. "Cudos" to whoever came up with the idea for placing an unrealistically low limit on the coins a player can accumulate and also decided not to provide any sort of notice that coins are going to waste.

The whole point of the store is that a player can accumulate coins and then spend them as they wish. Except, of course, that doesn't work because someone decided to limit the coins to 20. How very marvelous! I mean, everyone understands what the real point of the game is, but the architects could at least have the grace to maintain the pretense that it's about entertaining the players and rewarding them for the effort they put forth.

Ok, I now cede the floor to all the players who are no doubt frantic to display their superiority and good nature by explaining why everyone should have known about the limit, by pointing out what an idiot I am for not knowing it and how unreasonable I am for being irritated about it.

I usually (when allowed, that is) save all the coins I make until the end of the event and then come up with a strategy that makes the most sense in terms of what to buy with them. I (stupidly) didn't check this time to see if there was a resource limit, so I hit the limit (at some unknown point in the past) and ended up losing a bunch of coins (no telling how many) before I finally happened to notice what was going on.

The game could at least notify a person when they were hitting the limit. Maybe ask them if they want to pay some diamonds to increase the resource limit.

I agree also. Not just even the fact that there is a nonsensical limit on how many camelot coins we can have on hand but the absurdly small amt of event currency we get on these boards is annoying. Now the main building is nice even though its too big. I will admit I actually bought the pass this time since I still have things that give less stats than the camelot building does per square and I wanted more QI boosts, which I got from that building and I already have like 4 of each of the ascended side buildings that give QI stats. Also, bought the pass this time because it looks like the next event will be pretty annoying to even play from what I am hearing out of Beta.

I did the same thing and noticed the stupid limit after I had 20 coins. Don't think I lost more than a few of them but still that sucks especially given the pittance we get to begin with lol
