A couple of newbie questions

What are diamond farms? I see players who have a dozen or more wishing wells, where and how do they get them all? Same question for Shrine of Knowledge and Rouge Hideouts.

diamond farms are secondary worlds where players get a diamond income for all of their accounts by playing events and doing daily challenges to build up a store of wishing wells in an attempt to get diamonds often. They take a long time to build up as wishing wells only come in chests or fragments from chests. Dialy challenges, events, and the antique dealer are how you get wishing wells, rogue hideouts, and shrine of knowledge whether attained whole or in fragments. Some of the ways to get them may not make sense depending on your progress in the tech tree.

Diamonds are the only currency that you can use "cross-worlds." You can take from the same "bank" in every world you play in. So, if you take the time, and set up massive amounts of Wishing Wells on several worlds, you can use the profits from them in your "Main" world.
Usually, players will not attend to these as often, coming to collect, and do Events, to pick up more WWs. Like gianteagle said- very expensive and takes time to set these up. You will come across cities that are eerily silent, except for row upon row of WWs, this is a "Diamond Farm." You'll definitely know it when you see it!
