Anniversary Event 2026 Feedback

Put some of the boosters as prices to win in the task line. I spent most of my coins on them in beta.

And also why is it so rare to get the level 1 gems ?????

What he HECK is going on.. I'm connecting level 4 gems together and they're turning COLORLESS. Instead of turning in to keys. COMPLETELY USELESS COLORLESS BLOCKS. The goal is to make keys, if I already had a completed key why the heck would I want to make it colorless so I could complete another key in a different color? This event has gone from DUMB TO DUMBER.

Keys are still really powerful. Often can clear most of a board with just a little energy by chaining one key = wild colorless block into another key and another key and another key.

Personally I'm finding it a bit of an entertaining puzzle how to best play a particular board (particularly when it makes sense to use the limited boosters available to get a full-clear of the board). So I feel the change is an upgrade, even as it took away some alternative-paths of how to play the event (optimizing tasks is pretty much best for all goals now).

Though I'm not sure that the world event portion is in good shape if you want things obtained with network coins. World progress is not advancing very fast so far on the two worlds i've played the event on atm - doubting we'll make it to the end even after they recalibrated the over the top targets from beta. Guess we'll see tonight when most people get on to play.

UX in the browser version is even worse than last year, it seems you cannot click on a new gem until the merge animation has finished playing.

Good to see most people agree with me. This is trash and unplayable.
Maybe if you read the announcement about the changes to the mini game you wouldn't be so flummoxed. It clearly spelled out that the old system of keys was being changed. Personally, I kind of like it this way better. No longer end up with a ton of one color keys and none of the other two.

We read it, tried it and decided it's a disgusting slog. Not playing this event as it's a waste of my time.

I get the making of colorless keys. It is taking me alot more time to finish a board. It it's really annoying that one has to continually check to see if one has finished a quest or 14 tasks. In this case id like pop ups. I am so tired of the event already and only 1 day in. Maybe itll grow on me

I don't like how sometimes I get a random white key not even the same "level" you'd expect by combining them, and it's only sometimes.
It's not random. Instead of turning into a colored key that you cash in, like previously, it turns into a jewel that can be combined with any color jewel. Did none of you read (or understand) the announcement?

I'm surprised that it's taking you longer to finish a board. I've been finishing them much easier and with less spawning per board.

he means sometimes after you combine two 2s to make a "lv 3 key" sometimes it's a lv 3 wild ; and other times it's some other tier.

i'm not entirely convinced there's a correlation - i think it might just feel like it because the distribution of wilds created make 3s and 4s some of the most common wilds - and that's where you usually end up when making a key.

It seems very few actually read the announcements put out by INNO, which very clearly explained how this year's mechanic has changed from previous years. I would be shocked too if I did not know ahead of time that merging 2 different halves of the key, changes the gem to a colorless gem which can be used to merge (including to unlock frozen gems) with other gems of any color and same size,

Yep, and it even explains that while most of the time the merged gems retain the same level when making a key/colorless gem, there is a small chance of its level being lowered. Which, again, was clearly stated in the official announcement:

"When two opposite halves are merged together, the resulting Gem immediately becomes a colorless Gem on the board. But beware! Transformed colorless Gem inherit the Gem level, however has a small chance of lowering its level. Key halves are transformed together with the Gem and keys are no longer used in this mechanic."

If they offer good event buildings to grow my city, I'll play the event. This is one I can skip just like the St Pats event

Read the announcement about changes prior to event start. Tried to play, did not like the changes.
