Anniversary Event 2026 Feedback

I'm surprised that it's taking you longer to finish a board. I've been finishing them much easier and with less spawning per board.
I find it takes me more time to plan how to play my board going for the hard task. I get focused on planning and then forget to keep watching to see if i completed a task. I found making keys easier than prioritizing the hard task and also making keys. I really do best focusing on one thing at a time so i suppose that is why it is taking me longer, besides if i go fast I'd likely forget to check to see if i completed a task. Perhaps I'll get used to this in a few days and go faster but this new way does give me more choices which change as i make colorless keys of different sizes.

i'm not entirely convinced there's a correlation - i think it might just feel like it because the distribution of wilds created make 3s and 4s some of the most common wilds - and that's where you usually end up when making a key.
From about 200 merges for each tier on Beta, although it's possible the odds may have changed:

Basically, it's weighted much more heavily towards the higher tier gems that you would get if you merged two pieces that did not make a key.

What he HECK is going on.. I'm connecting level 4 gems together and they're turning COLORLESS. Instead of turning in to keys. COMPLETELY USELESS COLORLESS BLOCKS. The goal is to make keys, if I already had a completed key why the heck would I want to make it colorless so I could complete another key in a different color? This event has gone from DUMB TO DUMBER.
Keys are not used in the new version. You get no keys. If you pair two opposites thay turning in random colorless that can now open any with the same level. It can also increase the level of a colored one or the level of another colourless one. I like it better.

I do the same, I focus on the gems and whatever task finished first I collect on.

Find the announcement here. Please share any feedback you have below.
I saw on the a little announcment at the bottom of the splash screen while the game loads.
It said "Merging 2 colorless pieces of the same key will result in a lvl 1 clear gem." I have had lots of times where I would love to be able to spawn lvl one clear gems. I've tried merging multiple colorless gems and never gotten a lvl 1 clear gem. In fact none of my clear gem ever have a key piece. Does anyone know what this little 'did you know' tid bit is talking about

You probably read it wrong. Those things flash fairly quickly and our brains tend to fill in missing info with what it thinks it saw, but it is not usually very accurate.

Try interviewing several witnesses who say they saw the same thing, while having widely different "opinions" and versions about what they saw.

I'm with @Dominator - X on this. You read it wrong, because what you quote makes no sense. I just went and tested merging colorless pieces together and they never gave me a level 1 clear gem. They give what you expect, merge two level 2 clear gems and you get a level 3 clear gem, merge two level 3 clear gems and you get a level 4 clear gem. I mean, just the phrase "2 colorless pieces of the same key" makes no sense because the colorless pieces have no key parts to them. So whatever flashed at the bottom of the screen, it wasn't what you thought it was.

Going for the hard task is a piece of cake with this new system. You don't even have to focus exclusively on the type of Gems it asks you to free, because when you merge other colors to make a key, you can then use the resulting clear Gem on the required color. Not to mention that you get 2x reward on the first fulfillment of all three tasks each day. And with the removal of the clear board reward, there's no incentive at all to free all the Gems. Just fulfill each of the three tasks at least one time and then wait for the next day. Much less wasted spawning than the old way, too.

I actually prefer this.

It's not random. Instead of turning into a colored key that you cash in, like previously, it turns into a jewel that can be combined with any color jewel. Did none of you read (or understand) the announcement?

I combined 2 level 4's and got a white level 1 key, that is random. You would logically expect a white level 4 key.

I can read the announcement and still not like the mechanic.

Well, your post that I was replying to called the creation of the "white" Gems random, but it's not. Every time you combine two Gems that used to create a same color Gem with a Key, you get a "white" Gem. Not sometimes, as your post stated, but always. Yes, sometimes it's a lower level than you used to get, but that was made clear in the announcement. As I, and others, have pointed out. Besides, a clear level 1 Gem is almost always more useful than a clear level 4 Gem. This change has vastly improved this mini game, and I can't believe there are this many people complaining about it. Seriously, it's rare for Inno to do something right, and now even when they have you whine about it.

I wasn't complaining about getting the white gems, I was complaining about the randomness of what I'd recieve.

You're really clinging onto semantics and even making wild claims with no proofs to try to disprove my one complaint about an event mechanic which I clearly stated in my OP and right here. Do you need more lessons in reading comprehension yourself ?

You're really clinging onto semantics
That's because words matter, and making yourself clear would help people understand what you're really trying to say. Maybe take a little time with your next complaint and it won't be misunderstood. I always try to take the time to make sure my posts are as clear as I can make them for just that reason.

Where are the other worlds on the World Challenge. On Rugnir we're only on level 4 and it kinda feels like we are behind.

One of my worlds (Yorkton) is onto level 5. The other (Carthage) isn't as far through level 4 as yours. It certainly seems like it was "balanced" very tightly where *if* we finish all levels it'll be on the last day and accordingly there'll be almost no time to enjoy the 2 network coins per personal task reward.
