It's an FoE issue related to memory, has nothing to do with compute. I'm not sure on the exact cause, but it seems that FoE has a memory leak related to the files sent to the game. The longer you leave it open, the more memory you build up until it slows down or may eventually crash. UI interactions like GBG accelerate this due to the number of files you receive.Absolutely. I'm not sure if it's a FOE issue or a WIN11 issue, but it is ONLY the foe tabs that crash after being open for a while, especially after a lot of action in gbg. My browser is only pulling 20% CPU yet it crashes multiple times daily now.
A single physical server can cost quarter mill...most places are just doing digital aws. Not sure if that would help???It is getting worse. What I find helps most is regularly clearing junk files (Temp files etc) My system is set to do that and defrag regularly, but even so I also do it manually now and again. Also I used to have both my cities open on different tabs so I could easily hop from one to the other. I no longer do that either now. The game is running to much junk on an old, out dated and tired base. I very much doubt that MTG will allow INNO to spend the cash it would require to fix the game at this stage in its history. So we have to work around what it is if we wish to keep playing.
