In one of my worlds, the Halloween event only gives me male avatars. I would like to have some "prettier" ghouls to choose from.

It works the other way around too. Got the female plague doctor, wanted male

When events start that gives portraits Instead of a random portrait we should be able to win a portrait selection kit based on that event if they give previous year portraits
