When you only need one more blueprint to unlock the next level on a GB, you are bound to get ripped off! Just 2 weeks ago.... I had 1 BP spot to go....made 6 exchanges and didn't get it, then levelled a guy up TEN LEVELS....still didn't get it....afforded myself an additional 15 exchanges....STILL didn't get it. And it just got me to thinking.... 1) this is WAY too common, and 2) there are only 9 spots for blueprints! So WHY is it 15, 20 and sometimes 30 to 1 odds when it comes to that last spot? I can count on ONE HAND, SINCE 2012, when that wasn't the case. I've even gotten that last BP on the first try.....ONCE SINCE 2012. Got it within the first 5 tries a total of 3 times.
In fact, 30-1 is too conservative. What ARE the odds that, 90% of the time, you can exchange til the cows come home and watch them conveniently play "keep-away" with that last BP spot while all the other spots have several each? How is that the rule and not the exception? I'll tell you how.... it's programmed that way! And it's unfair!
To anyone at Inno who takes issue with what I'm saying here.... I just ask how would you like it if you only kept 19 out of 20 paychecks that you earned (on average)? If you are cool with making an entire week of effort obsolete, feel free to mail me your paycheck. I bet you DON'T want to do that, because you insist that YOUR week of effort should be rewarded, right?? Well, so should mine! I know you're trying to goad ppl into using / buying diamonds, but you're doing too much, Inno! And you guys ain't any better than we are!
It's one thing to make a way for people to excel a little extra if they pay you, but it's an entirely different to punish someone for "only" putting a lot of time and effort in instead of money. I know our invested time, alone by itself, can't buy you a new car, but time is still money to those who spent it! And there is no reason someone should spend an entire week and untold thousands of FP and have NOTHING to show for it just because you were trying to goad me into buying diamonds. Doing something like that just makes me resent you and never want to give you any money whatsoever. So not only is it unfair, it has the opposite of its intended effect.
BTW i know this is on the side, but whose idea was it to make that green mess the default room for the tavern?? If you go to a bar, do you really want to have to walk through a puke green room with nothing but generic graphics of beer before you actually get in the bar itself? The actual tavern should be the default room for the tavern. I know you wanted 3 things for the tavern instead of just 2, but it's tacky and just forces us to make extra clicks. You have to admit it's odd to make a TAVERN...and then, when people walk in the door, they aren't even in the tavern yet, and no REAL tavern is like that. Anyway, i digress on that if you can just start being a little more fair with the BP exchanges, if it isn't too much to ask
