Bronze Age Nonsense

Bronze Age has a tower for PvP that u have to fight and win to get to other Bronze Age provinces, but you can't count any of your Bronze Age fights on that map until u reach 2/3 thru Iron Age??? That's when the new set-up for PvP tournaments opens. Nothing you fight in Bronze Age or GE or Iron Age counts until u reach the Military Tactics tech, close to the end of Iron Age. WHY DID U STOP letting Bronze Age players get some medals for their work on the maps??? Why make them wait until the end of Iron Age to get any credit, medals and towers. That is a nonsensical change in the game, that disables good learning opportunities and makes it worthwhile not to bother with Bronze Age goods or other rewards until ur finished Iron Age. At least then u get something for the trouble of fighting thru ur continental map

Any fight on the map or in GE after you take the province with the Bronze Age tower counts for the weekly championship. Same with the Iron Age tower. The Military Tactics tech only allows PvP with your neighbors. It has nothing to do with the towers, except to limit you to map and GE (and maybe GvG?) battle points counting for it.

The short answer is... they didn't. The change only prevents you from attacking (and being attacked by) neighbors... presumably giving new and unestablished players more time to acclimate to fighting and the concept of defense to avoid being plundered senselessly before even getting a foothold in the game. It's meant simply to give players more time to prepare for the plunder aspect of the game.
