Can a guild remove buildings in a province in GBG?

In GBG it looks like there are just can be just 3 buildings for a given province based on the amount of space on the bar.

Can a guild remove a building once they take control of a province? In other words, if they take over a province and all three buildings survive, are they stuck with those buildings, or can they remove a building and build a different one?

Yes you can remove the buildings. BTW depending on the province you may have 3, 2, 1, or 0 slots ..it's not like all provinces have 3 slots.
