it is the whole point of quests where you must get multiple tavern boosts. without diamonds, or a whole lot of tavern silver to buy short boosts, it is really hard

I wish I could because if I set like a 48 hour 50% construction boost and then immediately after I get a daily challenge that say I have to activate 3 boosts in my tavern.

If you have a Tavern Boost running at the time you select the Daily Challenge. you won't get any tasks to activate boosts or spend tavern silver. I usually buy a 24 hour supply boost every day so I don't get them. The extra supplies can be used for RQs.
