Hello Kings and Queens,

The update to 1.29 will take place on July 1st. The most important change is removed level cap in Great Buildings. That's a great news for everyone with spare blueprints! Now you will always have a way to spend them.
As always, there will be a short period of downtime during the update, we apologize for this little inconvenience.


Changes/features


Great Buildings changes

  • The level cap of Great Buildings has been removed. You can now build your GBs up to an unlimited level. To unlock each additional level (10+) you need a full set of blueprints.
  • In the inventory the current and maximum unlocked level of Great Buildings are now shown once they have been built.
  • It will be possible that Great Buildings can produce more than 10 Forge Points which would be impossible to collect. Therefore more than 10 Forge Points can be collected now if the player has 10 or less Forge Points available.
  • Also when using Forge Points from inventory, no loss of Forge Points will occur anymore. If the player already has more than 10 Forge Points collected he can not collect more.
  • From now on it is no longer possible to contribute to other users' Great Buildings if the Architecture technology hasn't been researched yet (beginning of Iron Age) but it is still possible to build and contribute to own Great Buildings or have others contribute to these Great Buildings. We want to reduce the amount of content that a new player has to understand and aquire when joining the game for the first time.
  • As promised some time ago, Great Buildings vouchers to level up Aachen Cathedral, Statue of Zeus, and Castel del Monte will be added together with the update if you have them in your city.
  • New "how to" screen has been added to Great Building window.

UPDATE: The Great Building updates may not come at the same time all the other 1.29 updates do. As soon as the latest iPad version is released, the Great Building improvements will be available ingame.

  • A lot of in-game texts have been improved, to be more understandable.



Bugfixes

UI bugfixes
  • Fixed a display issue where the Health bar was not shown below units.
  • Fixed an issue where the Headquarter relocation message doesn't warn the user that HQs can only be relocated once per daily calculation.

Other bugfixes
  • Fixed an issue where the Power production of Hall of Fame is also added to a guild's Prestige.
  • Fixed an issue where the MG team retaliates when out of range.
  • Redirect to the city doesn't work correctly in a special case if you have visited a player by guild profile on GvG map - this has been fixed.
  • Fixed an issue where a user was able to bypass the tutorial restrictions by closing the building menu.
  • Fixed an issue where the tutorial broke when clicking back to city quickly after researching the first technology.
  • Loft house did not have point value.
