Dear Community,

Over the last few weeks we've been working very hard on making the game more stable and also increasing its performance, while also working on greater and smaller features that will be implemented with our 0.10.0 update.

The updates are pending. (updated)

Features

Guild Administration and Guild Forums
A first version of our Guild administration and our Guild forums will go live. Invite friends from the world you are playing on to join your guild. In the Guild forums you will be able to discuss plan and plot with your fellow guilders. Please note that we will add to this feature in the future, as we plan to allow trade within the guild to be free (no forge point costs). An option to fight on the battlefield together is also something we want to work on in the future.

Guild bar
Your guild will be visible in the neighbourhood bar, simply toggle between the guild and the neighborhood members at your leisure.

Global Ranking
Are you first in your neighbourhood, and you require more competition? You will now be be able to see the player's points from your entire world in the new Global Ranking system and have the option to compete against extremely skilled players for the top world ranks (supporting and attacking via the global ranking is disabled for now).

There are three available ranking views
  • Player - Top players by points
  • Guild - Top guilds by combined player points
  • Medals - Top medal collectors, winners of tournaments

New points calculation
The current point system has been overhauled. The points now consider more factors than simply resources collected. The new point system will be calculated by adding points from: buildings built, battles, and supplies collected. The existing points you earned will be recalculated with the update, so your rank may change.

New point Calculation:
  • Supplies + Coins pickup / 300
  • Battle points / 50
  • Each building gives building points

Old point calculation:
  • Supplies + Coins pickup = Points

Upgrade Roads
We know you are sick of changing roads, deleting one by one and then replacing. Well we made it easier! Now take the new road and simply drag it over the old road to replace it.

E-mail and Password change
There is now a little settings button (small cogs) located in the bottom left corner. Clicking it will bring you to the edit menu where you can change your e-mail and password.

Smaller changes and features
  • Message directly to player from the Trade menu.
  • Global Ranking and Medals are now visible in the top bar.
  • Building Tools have been moved. When you open the building menu, the tools will appear under the Forge Points.
  • Multiplayer now has its own menu button, which is located to where the "Tools" were before. Here you can access Guilds and Global Ranking.
  • We no longer display the idle state icon for Military buildings when full.
  • The "Gather All" Premium feature price was lowered from 15 to 10 Diamonds.

Tease
In a next update we will be changing how Neighbourhood Activity works. Active players will be pooled together into active neighbourhoods every 1 to 2 weeks. This will help the activity in our current trading feature, as Neighbourhoods mostly will consist of active players. We will also be adding the free trade between guild members in the future.

Changelog 0.10.0 Bugfixes

We recently disclosed many of the new 0.10.0 features last week, describing the major changes with more detail. The following list shows all changes briefly and includes all the bugfixes that will be fixed with the 0.10.0 update, presently scheduled for June 5th.

Features:
  • Guilds have been implemented into the game.
  • Global Ranking has been implemented into the game.
  • A "settings page" is now available, which allows e-mail and Password changes. This page can be accessed with the cog button in the bottom left.
  • New points calculation * [SPOIL] The current point system has been overhauled. The points now consider more factors then simply resources collected. The new point system will be calculated by adding points from: buildings built, battles, and supplies collected. Interface:
  • You can now toggle between the guild social bar and your neighborhood.
  • A "social" button has been added at the bottom left containing: Global ranking and guilds.
  • Your global rank is now displayed in the top panel.
  • Your medals are now displayed in the top panel.
  • The "zoom" button now has a scroll-over and a highlight.
  • The building menu now spawns the move, sell and cancel buttons in the mid-top of the screen.
  • The pvp towers no longer display the total medals.
  • The tutorial was improved.

Bugs:
  • Attacking a 0 point player is not possible. Finding something to loot may still be an issue though.
  • Some strings in the battlefield menu scroll-over (example: light_melee) were not translated. This has been resolved.
  • Selling a building would sometimes cause a graphic error. This is now fixed.
  • "Full" military buildings will no longer be displayed with the idle moon icon.
  • The values in some buttons were left-aligned and are now centered correctly.
  • The collected Goods now properly refresh, and refreshing the page to see them is no longer necessary.
  • In some cases, troops who died in battle remained stationed in the barracks with zero health. They now correctly die with honour.
  • The "make one move automatically" battle feature can now be used as intended.
  • The "gather all" button now correctly collects all resources without causing an error.
  • The cancel button in the visiting actions menu is now responsive.
  • Units no longer face the wrong direction when they attack.
  • The battle info was cut off on small, 13" screens.
  • Sometimes the battle movement arrows were displayed under the hex field. They now always hover on top.
  • The movement predictions of some units on the battlefield were not correct. All predictions should now be accurate.
  • The scour error bug, which caused the map to crash, was fixed.
  • The "Back to map" button in the sector overview would become unresponsive after negotiating a sector. This has been fixed.
  • The page navigation buttons sometimes became unresponsive, if you returned from the city overview. This issue has been resolved.
  • The Messaging box no longer spawns outside the screen with long conversation.
  • You no longer receive battle points if you "cancel" a fight.
  • Some expansions were missing. The available spaces should now be displayed in the building menu.

Troop building times modifications:
  • All iron age unit training times were reduced from 4 to 2 hours.
  • The Catapult, Trebuche and Cannon building/training times were reduced from 8 to 4 hours.
  • The stonethrower building times were reduced from 2 to 1 hours.

Improved Quests:
  • The quest, "The Beauty of the High Middle Age" can now be completed as intended.
  • The quest, "Prepare for War" now displays the full quest conditions.
  • The quest, "infiltrate" now accepts infiltration as a quest condition.
  • The quest, "increasing population" can no longer be finished prematurely.
  • The quests "Four Brothers, One Kingdom", "Cutting off the Supplies" and "Dawn of a dark age" did not recognize the completion conditions.

Please note, the update has been postponed until further notice. Innogames is attempting to ensure any updates are as bug-free as possible. Better to have it done right than to have it done in a hurry.
