Hello Kings and Queens,


The update to 1.36 will take place on Oct 7th. While a lot of background work is being done to polish the new, upcoming Contemporary Era (and some more, funny stuff that is coming soon!) we're still making the game better with some significant improvements and bugfixes.
There will be a short period of downtime during the update, we apologize for this little inconvenience.



Improvements

Goods improvements
  • Deposit tooltip has changed.
  • Loot and and expansion tooltips have changed.
  • Townhall tooltip has been extended.
  • New tooltips for goods only have been created.
  • Goods can now also be found in the inventory.
  • There is now a warning message when building an unboosted goods building.
  • Info screen has been added to explain the market and goods.

Various changes
  • Guild founder's rights will now be reassigned when all founders are deleted or inactive for 30 days. The way of re-assignation has also been improved, so that the rights will be given to the player with highest rights in the guild. If there is more than one player on the same rights level, the founder's rank will be given to the longest existing player.
  • Replacing of armies on GvG map - it's no longer possible to remove a defending army. Instead they can be replaced with new ones if there is no active siege in the sector.
  • Further Hardware Acceleration improvements.
  • Sensitive mouse cursors - the cursor has been improved. It now changes its appearance depending on actions that can be performed:

  • Swapping of buildings - reorganize your city easier, even without free space:

    Simply grab a building and put it on another one. Once you click, the buildings will swap places with each other and you will pick up the other one.




Bugfixes

UI bugfixes
  • Secret Identity skill text was misleading.
  • Chat windows scrolled together, not each for itself.
  • City name was displayed incorrectly after PvP defeat.
  • Sometimes, buildings were moving around a bit after placing them to be constructed and during construction.
  • Premium scouting option was briefly appearing when there was no province to be scouted.
  • Message centre - Last line of a message that one was typing wasn't displayed after sliding the in-game scrollbar down.
  • Global Ranking used to hang from time to time after visiting a player via guild profiles.
  • Buildings requiring a road would get half built even when not connected to the roads.
  • Checkmark was never appearing for specific types of quests.
  • Windmill graphics were erroneously displayed.
  • A search box layout issue in guild forum has been fixed.
  • Beach Bar animations was gone.
  • Incorrect type of good was displayed when collecting from a Great Building that was recently leveled up by a neighbor.
  • Having 2 quests was sometimes making icons overlap when you could collected finished productions.
  • Long good names in trade/profile tooltips could leave their allotted space.
  • The "Collect All Finished Production" button couldn't be clicked or was disappearing when returning to the city view.


Other bugfixes
  • Motivate all button didn't show up for Shrine of Knowledge.
  • The game should no longer crash if the background image is not loaded.
  • Buff panel was not shown for only coin or supply boost.
  • In rare cases the "Motivate All" cost was not shown correctly.
  • Creating an account name with more than 2 adjacent spaces was prompting an internal error.
  • Clearing browser cache with unfinished tutorial was sometimes blocking the game.
  • Motivated production buildings were sometimes still counted for the motivate all icon.
  • "Motivate All" was ignoring Hall of Fame and Oasis.
  • Forge Points packs spent on Great Buildings donations + "purchase Forge Points" option did not count toward quest progression.
  • Idle icon didn't ignore goods buildings.
  • Maximizing the browser window while the game is loading could cause the game to not load completely.
