Slowed my game down

I'm having a hard time moving between the screens now. Taking longer than normal I think to fight. Then move between fights where I plunder people.

When I change cities to M/P it takes 10 seconds or so before the city comes into view. Till then I can see people walking around on a white screen.

The hardware acceleration feature runs much more smoothly now, especially when scrolling the viewing window. Lag issues I had before, during scrolling or resetting resource buildings, seem to be gone or at least unnoticed. I appreciate the improvements.
