If I purchase the city shield from the Tavern AFTER someone has attacked me but BEFORE they've plundered me, can they still come back and plunder me once the shield is up?

Since the power of the City Shield is to prevent attack, and doesn't mention plundering at all, my guess is that it would not stop the plunder of a successful attack that was made before the shield. It would take someone actually trying it and reporting to be sure.
