Digging for Diamonds in Forge of Empires (FoE)

DeletedUser

Some important facts about diamonds within the FoE game:

First, while they are not necessary to play the game, although, they can greatly enhance your city (or cities) and playing experience.

Second, they are the only resource within the game used across all of your cities no matter the world (or server). Diamonds earned from a quest in your Arvahall city can be used to enhance your city in Fel Dranghyr

Third, they are not refundable. Things purchased with diamonds do NOT give back a portion of those diamonds when sold. You will get none of the 100 diamonds you spent on that Bronze Age Theater back when you sell it to make room for something even cooler.

What can I do with diamonds? Short answer: Just about anything.
Here are some examples of what you can do with diamonds.
- Purchase premium buildings, buildings that you cannot build with coins and supplies.
- Speaking of Coins and Supplies, you can double the production of any or all of your buildings for a cycle.
- Collect all of your completed productions.
- Complete construction of buildings instantaneously.
- Buy Forge Points, complete the research, or unlock a technology.
- Complete any set of Great Building Blue Prints and purchase the goods to raise it.
- Expand your city, (my personal favorite.)

The four C’s of diamonds

Just as in life there are four C’s to understanding acquiring diamonds in FoE –Cash, Commercial Offers, Complete quests, and Companions.

Two of these (Cash and Commercial Sponsors) are accessed by clicking on the golden Plus-sign + in the upper right corner of your screen. It is next to the blue log off button.

1. Cash – as in cold hard real world money. Diamonds can be purchased directly from InnoGames.
- After clicking on the Golden Plus-Sign, select the amount of diamonds you wish to purchase from the denominations available on the right side. Select you method of payment, and follow the instructions.

2. Commercial Offers – as in advertisers, merchants, and other third party companies who reward you diamonds in exchange for various activities (participating in various surveys, purchasing goods and services from them, etc.)
- Access these by clicking on the “Earn your Diamonds” button after clicking on the Golden Plus-Sign. This will take you to the list of Commercial Offers powered by SponsorPay.
- If you have any questions regarding receiving your diamonds from one of these click on “Support” in the bottom left corner of the SponsorPay screen.

3. Complete Quests – through the course of the game some of the quests will award you diamonds when you complete them. These are few and far between, and you may not know the quest is worth diamonds until after you complete it.

4. Companions – for each friend you invite who follows the link sent to create a new account and reaches the Iron Age, you will receive a reward of 200 diamonds.
- There are some restrictions on this, such as they have to be new to the game and not playing from the same household, Internet connection, or IP address: as detailed on the Invitation link screen.

Diamonds are special things and as such, various special events or special buildings given out during special events give diamonds as rewards. Diamond packages were on the wheel during the Summer Casino Event as well as being one of the possible rewards from the Wish Well.
