Expansions

Maybe this isn't a real question,but... Why is it that the event buildings are SO big, and the Expansions are only 4x4 and VERY hard to get? I don't understand why FOE wouldn't want us to expand more easily, since this would increase participation in events, use of GBs, etc. Please explain.

Expansions are not really that hard to acquire, provided you continue to advance in eras at a reasonable pace and continue to clear the continent map for the expansions there. I can see people that are sticking in one era too long having space issues, but aside from that not really - just replace something old with the new thing.

The limited size is a strong part of strategy. Foe is a game you need to think a bit. There are even players who never add any expandsiions. Called Tiny Towns. They live their whole Foe life inside the original sixteen 4 x 4 squares. (many very successfully)

Then why are you complaining about not having enough space? That's part of the challenge in the game and I'm surprised you haven't gotten the memo in 5 years of playing.
