Get apples from quests and from trees planted when other players aid you. Use them to get fantastic prizes!
It's harvest time! Farmers in your kingdom are busy reaping the crops, collecting the results of their hard work. Greva Darn has already proven to be a real all-rounder! Last year she helped you out with harvest and she'll be keen to take on the task this year, too!
The Fall Event will begin on September 5th.
When you first log in to the game, apart from the usual info screen, you will see a new button indicating that there is something going on:
Click it and you will get right to the event window:
As you can see this fall it is all about apples! You need to collect as many as possible in order to open the baskets that contain rewards!
The content of the baskets will remain largely the same over the course of the event, but every day there will be something different and valuable in them. What's more, on every third day two items from both baskets will be chosen and displayed below them. If you win them once from the baskets, they will be unlocked and you can then buy them directly with apples as many times as you wish! So keep an eye on the event to make sure you get your most desired reward.
In addition to quests (this year we have a lot more of them, with a lot more apples that can be obtained there), you can also get apples via social actions. When you aid your friends, guildmates and neighbours, there's a chance to plant an apple tree in the wilderness around their city. They can then collect apples from the trees you planted (up to 5 apples per tree) and spend them on rewards! Every time you successfully plant a tree, you will also receive an apple for yourself.
Please note that the amount of trees you can plant (and receive) every day is limited, but we made sure to balance it in the way that it will be beneficial to aid all the people from your social bars.

Make sure you check the wilderness regularly, as the trees expire after 24 hours!
In addition to some of the most desired event buildings and special items you can get, you will also have a chance to improve your Cider Mill (or - if you don't own one yet - get it and then improve it). You can get Upgrade Items either by spending apples or from the Fall questlines.
To upgrade your Cider Mill use the Cider Mill Upgrade Item on the Cider Mill that is already situated in your city. Its upgraded version will be then placed in your inventory and the original Cider Mill will disappear from the city (note that the upgraded building will be from your current era, even if the old one was from one of the earlier ages). This process will be also explained in-game, where you can click an Upgrade Item and view stats of all four Cider Mill stages by hovering on them:
As mentioned, all the apples that you spend count towards the Grand Prize, which is the Upgrade Item (progress is represented by a bottle of apple juice). If you're active enough, you will get an Upgrade Item to make your Cider Mill better! You can win it multiple times and thus upgrade multiple Cider Mills.
The upgraded Cider Mills (Blooming Cider Mill, Fruitful Cider Mill and Bountiful Cider Mill) are multi-producing buildings that produce different things depending on what production time you choose. The final version lets you choose from supplies, coins, medals, guild power, goods or Forge Points.
