Feedback for the Historical Allies Evolution 2026

It looks like an all around positive improvement. Honestly in advertising counts though. The 200 valor coins for retiring a hero is only if it's Legendary which doesn't exist yet. 1779557519137.png

As always with anything Inno does I wonder how much it's going to cost me. I am however please that they are finally getting around to finishing the ally's feature they introduced over a year ago.

Especially pleased that I played a waiting game and other than a a couple of levels to see how the mechanic works I haven't spent any training scrolls (84.3K in inventory) in anticipation of the "special skills" feature.
:)

Keyword: Yet. However, even if it did, it seems a bit crazy to want to disband one. Unless we are talking 20 years down the road.

In the current event I noticed that prize line progress 60 and 180 each gets an uncommon/common Ally. I wondered why they were basically giving away Ally's until I saw the direction they are heading with the Allies update...

A big part of the reason I don't advance past FE anymore is the increasingly fractured and jumbled abilities and matchups of higher age troops. Now you're bringing that same crap to the lower ages. Just stop. Fix the things that are broken, and work on making GBs (and thus FPs) relevant again. After that, work on something new that won't just make the game more complicated without adding any fun factor to it. (I know you won't, but I can hope.)

Can someone help me out with what "Valor" coinage is actually used for? I have looked over the announcement a couple of times and don't come away with any sense of their utility. I'm guessing they are required for activation of special skills slots?

Evolution system is a brand-new way to strengthen your Historical Allies

Evolution requires Valor Tokens and Heroic Scrolls
Disbanding allows you to convert those unused / less powerful Allies into Valor Tokens, which can then be used to further strengthen your best and most valuable Allies. And as the system is designed to support long-term progression over time, you will naturally replace older Allies with stronger ones, creating a surplus that will provide you with Valor Tokens to strengthen Allies you need.

@Dominator - X

I read the same thing myself (a couple of times). I'd be curious to hear your interpretation of how the valor tokens fit into that? I know we will find out soon enough after they roll it out, at least until they change it a week or so later, but curiosity begs the question of how (specifically) valor tokens will be used.

Disheartened that all the work done on the pre-Evolution Heroes was pretty much for nothing. I find it shocking that Inno is not going to repay the scrolls that were invested in all the old heroes, especially when Inno was selling scrolls for cash. Another example of Inno enriching themselves at the expense of the players.

Looking forward to finding the Keen Eye ability with an Ally since I am permanently parked in Future era.

I'm more interested to know if those fight boosts are venue specific or apply across all the fight mechanics. Since the fight boosts seem to be of a very limited ration - I can't see putting them to any really good use other than the PVP arena or perhaps the higher levels of GE. Both of those venues lend themselves to the advertised player ability to toggle the boosts and thereby daily charges spent on and off.

I'm afraid this feature doesnt excite me. I just don't have the desire to click on all 30 plus of my allies to try to figure out the best 1 or 2 to raise and which ones to disband. I only have one not housed, but it could be.

This game is making me use alot of math. I recently went thru my city buildings, listing them by size, giving their boosts i cared about and boost per tile so when i had a building to place, i could look thru my notebook and find one worse to replace. Maybe since I'm a mobile player, i don't have things made as easy.

I also use a calculator to lock in my gbs before posting except when i can do it in my head.

Maybe eventually I'll see my way to upgrade allies. Not today.

I mean, you could probably start with the number of stars attached to each Ally. That tells you how many separate boosts they possess. 0=1, 1=2, 2=3, 3=4, 4=5...

You know... INNO math.

I see that the Historic Allies building has been updated with information concerning the upcoming mechanic (also noted that they wasted no time in putting a $ value on the Valor tokens and offering them for sale) . It seems the Training Scrolls are still for raising levels and Valor Tokens will be used to upgrade the stars of each ally.

So far it appears they're both a % chance to proc, with limited charges. You know to make them extra-unreliable :p and venue restricted to GBG,

The event on beta has the 3 dorks from it with the following abilities:

I wish I could say more about how the abilities actually work regarding interactions, but making even just 1 legendary dork is also prohibitively expensive, so I can't on beta and won't on live be testing anything about them for some time.

But it seems if you were going to use them in GBG the plan would be

- 1) do your "easy" fights for the day
- 2) collect your housed-legendary-dork buildings
- 3) do extra fights until you run out of charges

Which seems tedious.

Dorks continue to find new ways to fail to impress ;)

But if you raise one for the type of unit you use most in the age you're in, and than you move up to a different age and use a different type of unit, doesn't it seem like maybe a waste after it costing so much to get it to legendary.

Am i misunderstanding the feature?
