Feedback for the new Guild Expedition Trials!

I can't see any reason to even try higher trials. I plan to do trial 9 until an event or rivals. Is there a trial that rewards extra turns?. I think trial 1 did when i did it in H world. I don't plan to do ge there. Just tried it out and could do all 80 on auto. I want to do one with extra turns should i need to rush ge though it would be preferble too get the FT frags, i don't actually need them at this point
all trials have some chance to reward extra turns, but trial 1 has the highest chance of extra turns because it has the least guaranteed rewards. extra turns are always from random reward platforms.

It was never possible to finish all 80 encounters for someone that just started playing. I think it's OK for new players to slowly build up their army boosts and goods stock so that they can finish more and more encounters as time goes on, eventually reaching 80.
The old GE had no enemy boosts for the first 3 levels. Thus when I started a new world and just unlocked GE with pretty much nothing, I could at least get through GE level 3 though it took the whole GE run to do it. New players that just unlocked it can't even get through GE level 1 anymore on Trial 1 because of the enemy boosts. So I believe they should redo Trial 1 to the old GE format of the boosts for the new players. That way they can at least feel like they are doing something instead of getting discouraged cause they can't even get through the first couple of encounters.

The new GE is ok for advanced players with a lot of attack. Still takes too long to get the upgraded terrace farms with high attack boost and QI action point boosts. Plus I believe they can probably still be plundered, which is obviously much less likely now days but would still be irritating to do 24 hour fp production for like 100 fp or whatever it is and have that plundered.
For new players the new GE is now brutal to the point that many will likely see little point in even bothering to try to do much of it.
This is not even mentioning the additional significant diamond nerf which impacts all who can even do LV4 of GE anymore.

That ia only partially true. Lower age payer also seem to have no clue that they really do need to make goods for the Treasury in quantities equal to how many they cost the Guild.
Nearly every Guild hands a partial free ride to low Era players by not forcing those players to cover all their own GE GBG costs.
Most lower Era player have no clue. Getting them to see that and actually try to get up to speed covering their own Guild costs is a hard task.
Yeah it is hard for them (mainly to realize they need to do more!)that is why the need to step up and cover their own behinds for Treasury costs.
I was lucky and finally figured that out after playing for a year having others carry my sorry arse.
The average cost per player a few years ago for GbG was 2,300 Goods per day per player in Guild. That was before the current GbG buildings, before the home base building existed in GbG. Now it must be well over 3500 per day per Guildie. just for GbG.
So all you newbies who thing Obs is a waste of time.. or that at level 20 you are covered... ahhh think again.
Lucky Arc is a Treasury Goods producer.
Guild founders/leaders should be helping out new guildmembers especially if they had actually started(founded ) the guild. Most good guilds do this and the ones that don't are either just filled with the bandwagoners in the one or 2 superguilds on a server or never get very high in the GbG rankings. Certainly all players should work their guild goods production but it should never be just well you just need to find a way to produce x amt of guild goods a day and tough luck if you can't get there in your own. Also, I think I would find your critique a lot more interesting if you weren't yourself a bandwagon player always moving to whichever guild happens to be the top dog.

I would suggest simply finding whatever is the highest trial you can beat without having to negotiate and stick with that one-cost to negotiate through it is gonna be silly especially since it now requires special goods as one of the options to choose from.

How long do the AD boosts last from the build option while playing GE?

I did Trial 1 last week all the way. Thought I would stick with Trial 1 but LO! I have been set up on Trial 2.

What is this Fortification option? Wiki is out. Confusion. I add some AD and figure this is eating goods.

So my question. I have tried searching and googling but maybe a kind soul will take pity on this confused player and maybe point me at the location of the answer, or just tell me. I would rather know where the rules are explained. Hard to play a game you don't know the rules.

And usually I can look in TownHall to see what boosts I have and where they come from. I have a helluva time understanding what boosts apply in what environment and for how long. There is a blizzard of options and the Townhall has been my go to once I get them applied - doesn't help me figure what to pick to GET them, just helps me know what I GOT came from.

Anyway - Townhall has no boosts showing from my spending goods in GE for AD so maybe they took my goods and ran?

1 encounter. The one that you build them for. They were initially only for GE5 when it was released. They're supposed to be a halfway mark between just fighting the encounter without help and having to negotiate the encounter. But were always kindof a half-baked feature; not many encounters did you need them for but also have them be enough. I think I might've tried to use them once or twice when GE5 was new with mixed success before I just switched to "either I win without fortifications or I negotiate" - and then eventually was just able to fight everything.

I haven't really evaluated them in the new trials context.

Thank you. I don't need them, but I worried they were needed later. God this game is so opaque. There is a lot I like but I hate not knowing how to find out. Inno ought to be paying folks on here for saving their game and their livelihood. I have and will spend cash when I am having fun but I really get annoyed when the rules are not available.

I set up my army to do a daily battle with 2 artillery units and 6 rogues, then I went to GE and did the first encounter, selecting replace units to be sure my army was fresh and it replace the artillery with 2 heavy units and 6 rogues. There might have been 2 heavy units before I set up the artillery for the daily, but it seems like the mechanic/code is not working correctly since it changed the most recent configuration to something that was, perhaps, set up before (or something random).

These GE changes have now caused me to close two of my three cities. That is two diamond buying and event / QI pass buying cities. I know Inno doesn't really care but they should really stop making changes nobody has asked for.
Making the Chamber in the World event for purchase only was pretty lame too.

I didn't even notice that. I assumed that you would get the Chamber at level 50 but we'll have just over 1k fragments. Where do the other 1k fragments come from? I don't see any on the event pass.
You get chamber fragments for every 20 gems you unlock also so its player dependent and some players will end up with a lot more than others but I would think everyone that plays the entire event and does maybe 3 boards a day has a good chance to get at least one of them. I also don't see anywhere where one can buy more fragments for it either?

as for GE-I am about to stop advancing in trials-trial 17 is still easily doable for me but going much higher is just gonna make it a weekly hassle for not a lot of extra benefit

Each guild member has to do the number of tasks at that level to claim the world prize for that level. Level one is 1 gem unlocked. Level 50 is 50 gems unlocked. You need to spend money to get it.

I wonder if holding onto all the tools from the rivals and using them for the higher task levels might make getting the Chamber possible without $$?
