Feedback for the Summer Event 2024

The unexpected result of this announcement has been zero feedback, so far! I guess you can only keep offering the newest/greatest of all time, event building, until players decide that the event is not worth participating in!

I am thinking that people are probably at the point of wanting a break from the constant stream of events given that they occur pretty much nonstop and most of them are now time intensive, especially compared to how most events used to be. Its fine and even desirable to change up the events from time to time but having to also often learn a new event or an event that is changed from how it used to be combined with more time consuming events and QI and GbG and GE and settlements, and more, it gets to the point where its too much!

There should be 2 feedback threads, one where they discuss the rewards, which is all anyone seems to talk about, and another for the actual event mechanics/how enjoyable to play are the events. Every event sucks when you remove the rewards imo.

Yes, that one still does/did give an error when I tried it, too. Instead, review this one below for the beta version. There might be small changes to what we'll get in live, but until that 404 gets resolved, you can see a bit more of what the rewards look like ...


IMPORTANT: CAREFULLY notice how venue specific these rewards are. Some ONLY generate boost rewards when you play in GE or GbG (or both), and NO OTHER fighting venue. That means they won't help for PvP Tower, continent map, attacking in your neighborhood, etc.

Not to mention that they also want all of us on Discord instead of here. So do they even listen to anything we say here anymore? Not that they did much anyway, As for feedback on the event, adding too much complexity to the mini games defeats your purpose because many of us will simply skip it rather than devote our lives to the game.

The Baron has, to my recollection, NEVER appeared on the day an event starts, even if it's the day GE starts (Tuesday).

But don't worry. This event is 1 month long (lucky you!). You'll see the wannabe Baron (who is already at the lowest rank of nobility and title of honor...) demoted to just Mr. Rude or Mr. Pejorative....probably twice.
