Feedback for Update 1.290

This is a terrible idea. Those who work, can not wait another 20 minutes. Not everyone has a job where they can just stop whenever they can. I know that some of my guildmates take a break to help with takeoff. The 5 minutes is bad enough, but I will lose several people if they have to come back in 20 minutes.

Who thought of this ridiculous idea?

Are the start times being staggered by world, or are the start times on each individual world staggered by battleground?
If it's the former, the scheduling issues aren't a huge problem, if it's the latter than it's a big problem unless the start times are pre-announced.

If you're going to stagger start times in an unpredictable manner, why not move GBG start to the evening when schedules are at least somewhat more flexible for most people?

Instead of randomly staggering the GBG start from between 0800-0820 Eastern time. Why not divide the US server worlds into four groups. Group 1 starts at 0800. Group 2 starts at 0900. Group 3 at 1000 and group 4 at 1100. Staggering the starts this way should go a long way toward eliminating the lag. The following season, Group 1 starts at 0900, Group 2 at 1000 and so on. After four seasons, it starts over with Group 1 starting at 0800 again.

We were in the 4-5 min group this morning and lag was worst that's it's been since the championship seasons started. A bunch of the guild commented on it in chat after the map was taken. We agree that whatever was changed did not improve anything. Lag was so bad we could count seconds between attacks. Some folks restarted their games without impact.

I didn't see any less lag than normal-we had start at 8:05 and lag was there as it always was. Didn't seem worse but then we didn't have that many strong guilds on our map so hard to tell if lag got worse overall or not. Sure didn't improve anything though

If they really wanted to deal with the GBG lag they would actually police the bot/script users and ban them. The rapid fire attack scripts are what generate the lag.
