Of course INNO cannot make anyone buy anything. I don't suppose anyone has said that they were forced to buy anything. That doesn't mean that one can't give negative feedback about the so called free prizes. This event takes more time than most of the events. From my perspective, and I have started this event in 6 cities, it is probably not worth the time I have invested into it. I quit the quests in 2 of my cities since I don't want to work on my map to be able to continue on it. However, with this event, one still gets balls without doing the quests. That is the plus. Yet it is still time consuming to go on and shoot balls for a pittance of cups. Of course, some people do better than I do. I have won some of the better cup rewards, but most of the time stick with 100% safe one. If you do that, you should come out with one good prize. However, it is taking more work to get that one good prize, than I probably could have gotten it in a mini event if the event was offering what I wanted. Stupid me for skipping previous events and choosing to do this one. I do this one for a month or more to get an item I may have gotten in a week or more event. Now if you want watchfires or victory towers or metals, I think this event is not bad. It is probably worth the time. Really don't think it is worth the time for anything else, but it probably is to some people, just not to me. I will probably go back to skipping doing events and being more selective on which ones I do. I thought I would enjoy this one more, but I don't really, yet seem to be drawn to finish it since I started it. If I I am around next time they offer the event, I will probably only do it in my main city and only if I want watchfires or metals or something like that.
I don't remember also anyone saying to make the prizes top notch or easy to win. I think the complaints I have read have been valid. Adding a confirmation seems valid especially when people have lost so many valuable cups over it. I would assume if it happened to everyone, that everyone would agree with it and there would be TONS of complaints from even the so called non complainers. It happened to me in 2 cities. It is just my losses were very small, double cups and a decoration I believe. I try to be extremely careful now. The real frustration comes because I dont' think people understand the gambling aspect of it when they shoot. I think many think they will win the 5% in something close to 5% for the shot they are working on, not 5% for the all the shots for the duration of the game or however it is done. Some may not realize at first that someone can come on and snatch the prize while they are still trying for it. It is gambling. Like all gambling, some people make out and get alot for very little, and some get very little for what they give. That is the nature of gambling. Someone has to lose so someone else can win. This is not an "everyone can get lots of great prizes if they play smart" Oh yeah...... a lot of their events are that way, this one is just worse (my feedback, not a whine, but perhaps a complaint though I really don't care). I like games that are based on skill and strategy and technique and these things can be counted on to insure you do well. This is not one of those types of events. You may do better if you strategize, but really, you can still lose all if someone comes on and shoots once (that happened to me). You can't know if someoen is watching.
