Calculator uses the integer function and drops all remainders.

    60,000 coins & supplies for the 30 daily UBQ's + 40 other daily RQ's = 70 RQ's completed

    Determine coins/supplies collected for those 70 RQ's:
    First Cascade:
    Small: int(70*(2/14))*((1+2)*1000)
    (10)*(3000)
    30,000
    Large: int(70*(1/14))*((1+2)*3000)
    (5)*(9000)
    45,000

    Large + Small = 75,000

    Extra Number of UBQ's (1st Cascade) = int(75,000/2,000) = 37

    Second Cascade:
    Small: int(37*(2/14))*((1+2)*1000)
    (5)*(3,000)
    15,000
    Large: int(37*(1/14))*((1+2)*3000)
    (2)*(9000)
    18,000

    Large + Small = 33,000

    Extra Number of UBQ's (2nd Cascade) = int(33,000/2,000) = 16

    Third Cascade:
    Small: int(16*(2/14))*((1+2)*1000)
    (2)*(3,000)
    6,000
    Large: int(16*(1/14))*((1+2)*3000)
    (1)*(9000)
    9,000

    Large + Small = 15,000

    Extra Number of UBQ's (2nd Cascade) = int(15,000/2,000) = 7

    Fourth Cascade:
    Small: int(7*(2/14))*((1+2)*1000)
    (1)*(3,000)
    3,000
    Large: int(16*(1/14))*((1+2)*3000)
    (0)*(9000)
    0

    Large + Small = 3,000

    Extra Number of UBQ's (2nd Cascade) = int(3,000/2,000) = 1

    Fifth Cascade:
    Small: int(1*(2/14))*((1+2)*1000)
    (0)*(3,000)
    0
    Large: int(1*(1/14))*((1+2)*3000)
    (0)*(9000)
    0

    Large + Small = 0

    Extra Number of UBQ's (2nd Cascade) = int(0/2,000) = 0

    Sum of Extra UBQ's from all Cascades = 37+16+7+1 = 61

    Total RQ's Completed = 30+40+61 = 131

Except that isn't how the recurring quests actually work. The error comes from your use of the int function. Indeed, the amount of coins and supplies that you receive from each quest is an average over a large number of iterations, even though the coins and supplies are rewarded in quantified amounts.

The fact is, when running actual quests, you don't run first run 70 quests and then see how much coins/supplies you have and figure out how many additional quests you can run. In reality, you start with a certain amount of coins/supplies and decide how much of them you are willing to spend doing UBQs. As I have practically unlimited coins, I base my decision on how many supplies I am going to spend down. If I have 100k supplies and decide I want to end up with about 40k supplies as a buffer, then I will be spending down 60k supplies - that's the amount of supplies to use on UBQ. I will then run UBQs until my supplies drop to 40k.

In Iron Age, the theoretical point of Infinite UBQs is reached at a bonus of 460 - level 72. It's theoretical because you could always run into a streak of bad luck and not get as many coins/supplies as you would "on average". Would you agree that at a bonus of 459 (not attainable with a real Chateau, but attainable with your tool) the result should should be somewhat close to Infinite UBQs?

Instead, the tool shows only 425 RQs completed. Using my formulas (where the int happens at the appropriate place), the result is 39199 RQs completed.

Here's a table comparing your tool against my formulas:
BoostTool total RQsMy formula total RQs
    200131150
    300184245
    400278653
    4504233920
    4554257839
    45942539199
Notice that the tool doesn't seem to think there's much difference between a boosts of 450 and 459, even though 459 is just a tiny step away from the Infinity point.

Show me the option to do .6 of a UBQ or build your own calculator.

It's your calculator. Do with it what you want. It just isn't very accurate, that's all. I've built simulators and also devised formulas for the case of two concurrent quest lines. I know my formulas are accurate.

    Sorry to have bothered you.

It's built to give conversative estimates on totals. Realistically the tool is completely useless though, in reality you would run UBQs like you explained where you have a low value for coins/supplies that you spend down to.

While we may disagree on whether your use of int is appropriate, there is another issue that affects your results.

In your example that shows the cascades, you start the 2nd cascade with 75000 coins/supplies. You do 37 UBQs. That only used 74000 coins/supplies. You need to add the other 1000 coins/supplies into the following cascade.

So the 3rd cascade had a total of 34000 coins/supplies available, and can do 17 UBQs instead of just 16.

Here's what my previous table would look like if your tool were modified to not dispose of those "extra" coins/supplies:
BoostTool total RQsMy formula total RQs
    200133150
    300184245
    400305653
    4504273920
    4555417839
    459187239199
This still provides a very conservative result, but much more accurate considering the algorithm you are using.

I can agree with that, you'll have to get @yoratheon to make the change on his website, I don't have access to it after giving him permission to use the calculator.

    Hi,

I have seen your messages. Currently I do not have a lot of time. This will probably require a lot of work. I will fix that ASAP.

    Hi !

It's been a year to the day that FOE-Tools is released !

For these 1 year, a little update for you, a big one for me: 2.21.0

Add GB levels (cost and reward) of:
    • Bronze Age: 155
    • Iron Age: 105
    • Late Middle Ages: 133 to 134
    • Industrial Age: 103
    • Progressive Era: 163 to 167
    • Oceanic Future: 112
    • Virtual Future: 108 to 112

Some minor improvements on the interface and the user experience.

As far as you are concerned, that's all.
As far as I am concerned or more generally, the developers, I started to implement an automatic testing infrastructure in order to make sure that I do not introduce regression and that the new code is tested. It actively in development, but some parts are already tested.

u mean u also don't get time or
are u asking me when to flip it to dark theme automatic according to local time?
just a suggestion - a toggle button would do fine (ignore it if u think its crap)

I mean I do not have a lot of time.

Yep, this is what I am gonna do.
An automatic toggle (which can be configured) can also be considered but probably not at the beginning.

Just started using some tools in earnest and I would also very much like a dark grey version. Toggling from the hue of the game to the white of the sheets is quite glaring. I would find a dark background version much easier on the eyes. Thank you for your work and willingness to share.

been using it for almost an year i guess. . when i spotted this website.
i did share it with my frnds and guildies and whoever needed help with understanding 1.9x
before that i used to make spreadsheets in google and share it with guildies (just beginner level - no brainer in Excel) to check whether it was right and worked for everyone. but after i started using this @yoratheon 's site, it's relief for everyone to understand without telling 1.9x and how much to snipe / block and all even for the new players as well. . @yoratheon made life easier. Thanks
