Oops! Your advisers say that you have offended the emperor of a powerful distant land, who has sent an army of ninjas to disrupt your city. These stealthy fighters will be difficult to stop, but perhaps you can convince them to join your cause. One of the highest art forms in this empire is the haiku, a short poem consisting of three lines. The first line should have 5 syllables, the second line 7 syllables, and the last line 5 syllables. Impress the ninjas with your mastery of the haiku, and perhaps they will think you a leader worth following!
Contest rules:
Each player may submit one haiku by posting in this thread. To be eligible, the post must include your in-game user name and the world that you would like your prize applied to. Your haiku must correctly follow the traditional format as described above.
A panel of moderators will select 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place winners, for the following rewards:
3rd place: 1 rogue hideout LORD DEATHRIDER
2nd place: 1 rogue hideout and 5 unattached rogues DUKE THE WIZARD
1st place: 1 rogue hideout and 10 unattached rogues ROMAWI !!!!
In addition, 10 non-placing entries will be selected at random to each receive 2 unattached rogues plus 20 forge points. (These players have been notified by ticket in the Support system.)
To qualify for a prize, entries must be posted before midnight EDT (East Coast time) on Sunday, August 16. Happy haikuing!
