GBG and Forge Point Rewards

What you probably are interested in:
- Do encounters only with 80% attrition reduction.
- Do as many encounters a day as you can.

Picking an era with a higher attrition ceiling at the same stats could help. Virtual Future (especially with SAM troops from Eco Sanctum or Aviary, but even without). Or Industrial Age (with OF troops from story) being two obvious points I could recommend

Technically true, but you probably don't want to:
- You could gain a little bit by negotiating instead of fighting when your attrition is low enough that the goods cost doesn't bother you... A negotiation being 60% of a prize vs 48% for the same chance at an attrition.

Should note:
- You're probably not going to outperform your city's collection anymore using GBG prizes.

Spam auto battle until you have too much attrition.

@xivarmy I get at least 150 FP's per day, and thats on my worst day. It may not be a big difference, but that is a lot to me outside of my daily collection.
I collect about 20-30k FP a day and have plans to get to 50-100k FP from collection.

Vs even if I redid my city to go all out in GBG it'd be at most ~1500 FP a day (for 200ish attrition * 5 fights per attrition * ~1.5 FP per fight); i can make ~1k a day as it stands if it doesn't bother me to sit there mindlessly click click clicking (well ok now tap tap tapping on keyboard shortcuts instead) for a half hour a day. But it often does so I don't ;)

The general consensus seems to be that there is little I can do increase FP rewards. Instead, I should focus on anything that increases the general production of all rewards. Is that right?

The best way to increase your FP rewards (or any rewards, for that matter) during GBG is to maximize your fights. The more fights you engage in, the better your chances are at receiving more FPs.

There are as many answers to this as there are people asking the question but aside from some the tried and true you've already been told about, there are two more: GE (ToR) & EBs (Event Buildings). With the upcoming changes to GE, I'd think this one over carefully as the "ToR Advice" may have just outdated itself "but" if it's not outdated, the Relic Hunt becomes something you definitely don't want to miss out on. It can be a youn(er) city's best friend. There are many items that are very useful to a city young in resources that cannot be earned outside of GE or the Relics that are entirely disposable once you've used them to reach a goal point.Research it, at the very least. It's worth the read to see if it's the right answser for you.

The EBs are what have generally replaced, well, virtually everything in the game over the last few years. There are inherent problems with them as more often than not younger city players expect them to do everything and unless you can get fully leveled one (including the silver/gold tiers), they are just not designed for that. So, for "simple and basic daily needs," yes, they are a "must-have" (unless you literally hate questing). BUT - think 'small' in that you will probably need an event or two under your belt to realize their full value to your city. Many of the side buildings in events can be far more useful and easier to acquire, realizing their full potential, which is what you're going for. (If you are determined to put your partically leveled EB in your city "to get what you can while you can," nothing wrong with that provided you try to see it as a temporary place-holder and be ready to take it out the moment something comes along that will give you 'more for less,' i.e., more loot for the same/less space (and that's not limited to EBs, it could be something you've researched or a GB or anything).

For those of us that work 60+ hrs a week and do 500 battles in GBG as well as QI, all of GE, the Rivals and events, we don't have time for manual battling. Those that do have that kind of time to manually battle everything either have no life or way to much time on their hands.

Or they are in their final years in a retirement home and this is their main form of social contact.
