GBG attrition?

What is going on with GBG attrition? I currently have 322 advances and only 47 attrition which is far and away the best I've ever had. The only problem is everyone else in my guild is doing MUCH better. There are people with over 1000 advances and 0 attrition.

The players with over 1000 advances and zero attrition have not made any advances since the last reset.
