GBG

I’m sorry but something has to be done about GBG. There has to be another level for top guilds to bang their heads together and not bully the rest of us. We can’t even get any fights in. This go around we’re in with 3 huge guilds. How is that fun for us. This is East Nagach for reference. There’s no reason why there can’t be different levels or something. Thank you.

I am sorry too.

BTW: There are different levels. You just have not figured out how to stay out of the level that is above your pay grade. Keep working on it.

I would be happy if they did away with gbg but than our gbg boosts would become worthless. I don't think there's a solution that will make everyone happy. I'm in a top guild and if we had to fight another top guild every season and actually try to win, it is too expensive and time consuming. My guild could win sometimes but choose not to cause of the cost, so it becomes simply a game of farming and once our spot is secure, i quit doing much if anything. It's too boring.

If gbg is truly a competition and points count, than it should be each guild for themselves. Even if gbg is farming, we really owe it to our guild members to be able to get all the fights possible. They are the ones who contribute to our guild. We don't owe other guilds

As far as i can see, in order to be fun. It should be a true competition, no pay to win, and no farming. If they meant it to be farming, they should simply give each guild their own map.

Yea, that's one of the weird traps they've set for themself with the venue-specific boosts. Either expedition, GBG, and QI last forever or they have to designate some change to buildings that have their stats if they ever decide to get rid of them. Especially if/once they tie GB bonuses to them. The only time this has come up previous was the removal of support pool (observatory gained a generic blue bonus instead of its historic support bonus). But GBG-boost for instance would be on a whole other scale.

I have said this before and I'll say it again, There are a 1001 different ways they could update Great Buildings. With a little forethought the developers could introduce a whole new era of city development and planning for the player base and bring back the excitement of personalizing your city for your own play style. Add the ability to draw single lanes roads after level 100 to a Capitol and you have something, selected Emissary Slots at higher levels added to a GB, interconnected GB's for an added boost, why not shrinking the city foot print after so many levels. So many options and so many things that could be .... and all they come up with is more red/blue boost with some goods thrown in here and there.

The lack of imagination and downright disgusting failure to address the Great Building's update in a timely manner is another example of Inno's disregard for the game.

I do not see GBs and Great any longer. And see no need to do anything to "Improve" them. They are simply bog standard buildings that give rewards that improve as they level up. We get so many FPs thrown at us now it is not hard to do. Then as your city progresses dump the GBs and replace them with others that help you more. Just as you would with an Event building that has outlived its usefullness.

GB's give me all my Critical hits , 40% of the units I use and about 9% of my combat strength and allows me to play as much GBG as I want. Hardly useless to everyone. 1779604114483.png

All down to how we each play the game so it is fun. In my main world I am in a fighting guild. We are in the #1 spot. So are active in all areas of the game. And we help each other to maintain and build on individual performance. For myself as long as I see myself being able to do what I need to and improving I am happy. Some GBs I never built. Of all the GBs I once had I have dumped all but 14 and there are a couple more that will probably go. Once the next Era arrives I will look at whatever GBs it offers and if they are of benefit to me I will build them. Same goes for Event buildings. If they benefit my game and cost me little to no diamonds to get I will build them. No big deal, if I do not get them one thing is sure. INNO will throw something else at us in the next event.

As for stats (I know a lot of players find knowing what they are is important to them) But I am just not interested in the numbers. I have not looked at mine in years. Have no idea what they are. As long as I can see myself getting stronger through playing the game, the numbers mean nothing to me. They never have. Neither is where my troops come from that important. I do admit to feeling kinda nervouse when I first dumped Traz, but soon found that I had nothing to worry about. As long as I have enough to fight all I want to without running short I do not sweat that either. I know that if INNO did decide to bring back a war aspect to the game (am not holding my breath) I have enough troops in every age if I need them.
