What is the meaning of this report? And how can I find the matching goods deposit for Honey? Is it on the lane?

It is telling you that you have not yet found a goods deposit (Honey) on the continent map and that any attempt to produce that good in your city with Beekeepers will be at a lower production value.

You also may not have it on your C-Map. Of the 5 goods in each age only 2 of them show up as a deposit on your map. Those are the 2 that gives your Goods buildings a boost in the amount of goods that can be produced. Usually best to trade for the goods that you do not have a deposit for.

This will change once you start making combined goods much later on. Then you will have 3/5 of the goods from each era that make up your base goods to combine.

In each Era players get deposits for only two of the five types of Goods randomly. The op here probably did not get Honey as a deposit at all.
Players can make any of the five Goods. But only the one with deposits will make the full amount possible. You can plant the no deposit ones (ignoring the warning the op got) but those will only make 1/5 the quantity of the ones with a deposit.
The best way to get The other goods is to trade in the Market. To trade you need lots of friends or be in a Guild with others to trade with (via trades in the Market)

You can go to the Continent map and look at all the continents you have conquered. The provinces with a goods deposit will show the goods deposit with a green "up" arrow. Or you can go to your build menu and either hover over each goods building, which will show a green check mark in the "Boosted By" frame, or you can just click on each goods building in the build menu and if you get the message above, you know you don't have that deposit. If that message does not appear, then you have the matching goods deposit.

Just to make sure, if I have a green check mark in the boosted by frame, then that deposit is qualified to invest into?

Yes, but honestly the best ways to produce goods are Recurring Quests and event buildings. Some GBs are very good for producing current era goods, also, but only up to Modern Era.

The boost simply means that you will recevie 4x the regular rate of manufacturing. Let's say you have Jewelry and Limestone in the IA and you decide to produce Ebony, Cloth, and Jewelry. You will receive 1/4 of the Ebony, Cloth, and Jewelry of your two "boosted" goods, Jewelry and Limestone, in the same amount of production time. Until you reach Modern Era (ME), you will always have 2 goods deposits that are 'boosted.' @Johnny B. Goode is correct; however, your most productive way to obtain goods are through other means such as RQs (Recurring quests) and EBs (Event Buildings). You can also trade for the finished goods that you do not have deposits on.

I wonder if there is even one player at all.. actually making Goods from Menu buildings in any Era above perhaps Industrial Age anymore. (Aside from Space Age Synthesizers..)
Maybe some 'purist' who scorns Event Buildings??? LoL

Believe it or not, I have actually come across one that will have nothing to do with any EB. And he is in ME. Whenever it is brought up he won't even talk about it. Just won't have anything to do with them. LOL

There's always "one." I had a friend on Parkog who played for over 5 years, wound up in TE, and I swear the dude was farming supplies.

Back when OF was the highest era, before EBs became so OP, I used to occasionally run into players in FE and above that had zero GBs.

I use only event buildings. I make 21,711 goods per day, with tech tree buildings that would take 6 months.
Good grief. Looking at your totals made me go look at mine. They're practically identical! lol I was putting "carnival stuff" (EBs) in this city long before it was considered 'cool' because I literally had no other way to make FPs. (This was my 3rd built city but got the short end of the stick on my time in terms of events, etc. but I've considered it my main for well over 6 years. At least it's caught up with itself!) haha
