For those who'd prefer a different line-up of the goods requirements, here's a table provided by Markus Vypirius:

Thanks for that!

what does the color mean?

... stupid question I'm going to go ahead and assume that they show the prerequisite for the next tier

The colour of the arrows just makes it easier to tell the path you'll have to follow to get where you want.

DeletedUser1101

how did you color the arrows o_O quite an amazing feat. (normally i do everything on paint XD) you'd need to draw lines in the arrows to use the fill tool since he arrows are interconnected rather then overlapping. anyways thx for posting this ;)

Updated the first post reflecting version 0.13 which is due soon.

As for the colors in the arrows: Paint Shop Pro, lots of copy and paste and the fill tool.

Woah, better research Great Swords before the update...

If a player has a high middle age/late middle age good deposit of either stone, limestone or gold it will be replaced with the new good.

I'm wondering what this means, since I assumed that the stone, limestone, or gold produced from the improved goods buildings were just counted the same as goods produced from the normal buildings. How would they differentiate?

Also, the announcement was made in the .EN version of the game, which always gets game updates several days or so before the .US version. When would we get the update? Or is it TBA?

They're talking about the deposits, not the goods. So if you have a Bronze Age deposit in an HMA province (Stone in Breturia for example), this stone deposit will be converted to a dried herbs deposit. Likewise, if you have built an improved stone mason, this will automatically be converted to a Dried Herbs Merchant, producing dried herbs from then on.

If you sell/delete a goods building we will say mason for example do you loose all the goods made?

I have a goods production building, and on its menu it reads: "You can increase production by claiming a goods deposit on the continent map."

However, on the continent map, I see nothing whereby I may claim said "goods deposit"... other than perhaps the button-looking icon with the good in it (which, when clicked, just brings you to the regional territories map [or whatever it's called]).

Am I missing something? How does one claim a goods deposit that one has earned?

In order to get a deposit, you must control a territory. In order to own a territory, you must win the regions OF the territory. Each territory has its own reward. IE: out of 7 territories of Iron Age, you have a tower, 2 treasure chests, 2 expansions, and 2 goods chosen at random by the game program.

I really wish you'd stop telling me things I already know and just answer the question I've asked... or else make way for someone who can.

It is entirely evident by the fact that I say I have "earned" said deposit on the map that I have, in fact, already conquered the entire territory in question.

If you know the answer, fine; if not, stop being annoying.

Domino is entirely correct. but to further expand, the circle with a picture of the good on it IS the deposit. simply control the provenance and you have access to the deposit. you will only get 2 goods per age, the other you have to trade for or build a goods building and produce at a reduced rate.

DeletedUser1405

So then what you're saying, fflam, is that the goods deposit that the goods' building's production menu tells me that I must "claim" is, in fact, already active by virtue of my having already beaten the territory?

I guess that begs the question, then: "Why have the misleading message on the goods' building's production menu?"

You may wish all you want, but I can't stop, it is my nature, ask anyone....I bet if you well nevermind ;)You should know however, I am short on words, I like to conserve CO2 and give as good as I get. Keep that in mind. Consider that is my contribution to global warming in honor of Diggo.

The only thing I can think of is for example, you conquered a territory with a glass deposit, the only good you will get a 5 instead of a 1 production would be glass, anything else would still be at 1. It doesn't tell you it has increased production, the building just does...when you build it says 5/10/ etc etc...if it doesn't, have you refreshed your game. If none of these things work, would you be adverse to taking a screenshot of both your map with the deposit in question, and a screenshot of your production screen and posting them?

yes by virtue of controlling a providence with a good you automatically "claim" the deposit.

I just looked at my goods building and yes even if you have a goods deposit, the message does not change. That is a bit misleading, not sure if it is a bug or a proposal to get it changed, i will look into it.

Yeah; that would be helpful.

I'm still a pretty new player, so when I saw the productions of 5/10/20/etc., I just assumed that was normal. It was my very first goods building, just built for the heck of it. Now that I've seen some other posts, though, about these other unfriendly "neighborhoods", though (where big players are constantly raiding people below them for goods)... I may rethink having them at all.

I'm the biggest guy in my neighborhood right now, and I try to set the example by doing those helpful things for everyone else each day... maybe help them enjoy the 1P aspect without having to worry so much about oafish kids that think success in war on computer games makes them some kind of formidable IRL. :p
