Great Building locations

Inspired by some posts on another thread, I thought I would investigate and list the locations of all the GBs. So here you are, enjoy.

Temple of Relics (no age): Latin America (Mexico, Central America, Peru)
The graphic depiction of the ToR suggests that it was modeled after the pre-Columbian structures in the Americas.

Observatory (no age): Greece/Syria/Iraq
Where the first Observatory was is up for debate. The first one that used instrumentation was on the island of Rhodes, therefore Greece. However, it could be argued that the true predecessors of modern ones were built in the Islamic world, therefore Syria (Damascus) and/or Iraq (Baghdad).

Oracle of Delphi (no age): Greece

Statue of Zeus (Bronze Age *BA*): Greece

Tower of Babel (Bronze Age): Syria/Iraq
I found an interesting article about where it might have been located, that suggested northern Syria.
Most people assume it was located at or near Babylon due to the similarity in name.

Colosseum (Iron Age *IA*): Italy

Lighthouse of Alexandria (Iron Age): Egypt

Cathedral of Aachen (Early Middle Ages *EMA*): Germany

Hagia Sophia (Early Middle Ages): Turkey

St. Mark's Basilica (High Middle Ages *HMA*): Italy

Notre Dame (High Middle Ages): France

St. Basil's Cathedral (Late Middle Ages *LMA*): Russia

Castel del Monte (Late Middle Ages): Italy

Fraundkirche of Dresden (Colonial Age *CA*): Germany

Deal Castle (Colonial Age): England

Royal Albert Hall (Industrial Age *Indy* or *InA*): England

Capitol (Industrial Age): USA
The description clearly states that it is intended to represent the US Capitol in Washington, D.C.

Chateau Frontenac (Progressive Era *PE*): Canada

Alcatraz (Progressive Era): USA

Space Needle (Modern Era *ME*): USA

Atomium (Modern Era): Belgium

Cape Canaveral (PostModern Era *PME*): USA

The Habitat (PostModern Era): Canada

Lotus Temple (Contemporary Era *CE*): India

Innovation Tower (Contemporary Era): China (Hong Kong)

Voyager V1 (Tomorrow Era *TE*): United Arab Emirates (Abu Dhabi)

Dynamic Tower (Tomorrow Era): United Arab Emirates (Dubai)

Arc (Future Era *FE*): USA
Since the Arc is described as a biosphere, the only one I could find is in Arizona, called Bioshpere 2 (Earth is biosphere 1, if you're curious). It may or may not be the inspiration for the Arc GB.

Rain Forest Project (Future Era): ?
I guess you could suggest Brazil (Amazon region) as a possible future location, as it is the most famous rain forest location.

Seed Vault (Arctic Future Era *AF* or *AFE*): Norway

Arctic Orangery (Arctic Future Era): Antarctica

Gaea Statue (Arctic Future Era): Greece

Kraken (Oceanic Future Era *OF* or *OFE*): Norway/Greenland

Blue Galaxy (Oceanic Future Era): ?
I have no idea and don't see anything to base a guess on.

Atlantis Museum (Oceanic Future Era): Bahamas
There is a resort named Atlantis which isn't really a museum, but is clearly based on the Atlantis myth.

Terracotta Army (Virtual Future *VF*): China

Himeji Castle (Virtual Future): Japan

Most of the game's GBs are based on actual buildings. A few are based on types of buildings (Obs/ToR). Some are modified versions of actual buildings (Arctic Orangery). One may have existed at some point in the past (Tower of Babel). And some are merely imaginings of possible future structures (RFP and Blue Galaxy).
