Guild Expedition Avatars?

I was looking at my achievements the other day and it says I am at 17/18 on avatars for the fifth difficulty level of GE. I paid close attention today when I was going through GE and not a single chest offered me a chance at an avatar. How do I get this last avatar?

Chests 4/5/6/8/9/10/12/13/14 of Level 5 contain a 10% chance of one of 18 avatars. Keep playing L5 and you will eventually collect the final avatar.

I watched those chests. Each one had a 90% chance of the main prize and then a 10% chance of the same prize. None of them had an avatar available. I'll watch again next week.

The chests start out with 90% main prize 10% avatar until you collect the two avatars per chest. Once that is done the reward changes to 100% main prize (shown as 90%/10%). You still have one chest with one remaining avatar to collect.

It's there. I just one my last one last season. I didn't even know I had any left, but apparently, I collected it.

I have 18 too , just keep going and you will eventually hit it on the RNG. Its a dud reward though.

I'll start caring about the Avatars when they start giving some sort of boost benefit for your troops or city. Until then, they are worthless to me and not worth my time.

There is no real strategy to collect them. You just have to regularly play level 5 of GE. They come automatically over time.
