Hello Kings and Queens,

A Tournament is announced for the opening of Houndsmoor. This Tournament comes in two separate tiers and applies only to Houndsmoor:

Tier one - Diamond / Negotiation use
Be the First to acquire 5 Provinces by Negotiating and gain the Forum Title of Diplomat of Houndsmoor

You may use Diamonds to:
  • Negotiate Sectors
  • Build Military Buildings
  • Train Military Unit
  • Revive Military Units
  • No Multi-Accounting or Shared Accounts (game rule violation)
You may also attack sectors and take them that way but you must negotiate most of the sectors.

Tier two - Non-Diamond / Attack only Use
Be the First to acquire 5 Provinces by Only Attacking and gain the Forum Title of General of Houndsmoor

You may not use Diamonds

  • No Multi-Accounting or Shared Accounts (game rule violation)
You may NOT negotiate any sectors or.

There will be 6 total winners, 3 for first tier, 3 for second tier. The prizes are:
1st place = 600 diamonds & Forum Title
2nd place = 400 diamonds
3rd place = 200 diamonds​

once, just for the final. This will just be a visual cue for us to say, "yes, this account may qualify. We should look at it closer."

A shot of your campaign map will suffice nicely.

For Non-Diamond / Attack only Use, may we use diamonds for other aspects of the game outside of the military? For example, can we use diamonds to immediately research slingers, and use diamonds to build 2 expansions (or more)?

no, that would give you a military advantage. you would have to compete in the premium tier.

So can you use diamonds for say, chalets, which is a necessary step for horseback riding (which is military)? or are diamonds not allowed for any step in the tree?

none. any advancement through diamonds could translate to an advantage on the battle field. number of troops, speed at which troops are unlocked, etc etc.

Perfect...thats the clarification I was looking for....do we have to register for it ahead of time or just get in and get going once it opens...?
