I'd suggest you post these sort of links to people who do not currently play FoE. Say in an email or your facebook account and such.

If you wish to invite people in game, go to invite friends at the bottom of your screen (black figure) and go to the middle tab "Friend's List" and type the player name you wish to invite. You can check the forums at the bottom where you have the different "World of ..." and check there to add names or post a request for friendship in a new thread.
