Probably should join a good and active guild and ask them to fulfill trades.

You need to start talking in your guild and asking there for help and advice. They seem to pretty well set up and doing a lot to help new players.

Problem is only players in your Neighbors, Friends and Guild can accept your trades.

So unless you're looking to accept a Friend request, you would need to ask people already in your social lists.

Do not add guild mates as friends as you can aid them and trade with them anyway. A good way to get active friends is to visit your existing friends taverns and send friends requests to people sitting in them. The fact that they are visiting other taverns shows they are active.
