Yep, couldn't possibly let the Camelot building be competitive with Eco's. Also roads required for sorta decent calendar rewards that take 32 days of beyond compare random chance? No thanks. Lamest event of the year.

You can say that again about the toddler allowance in regard to the stores. Not sure how Inno thinks that getting chump change to spend in the stores motivates people to focus on the event.

Thoroughly disappointed by this event. Nothing but a skin change from the winter event. This is the worst ever in the 3+ years I've been playing.

This event is LOADED with tremendous buildings and allies. I am going all in for the 1% prizes. This has not been done by me since the Winter 2023 (or 2024...can't remember...LOL!) so I can afford to Go Big in $$$ for this one. Other cities may not need all the good stuff this event offers so those players can go for the cheap low hanging fruit and call it a day. Something for everyone that way!

One good thing about this event is at least the rival doesn't ask you to do stupid things that cause you to waste event currency for little to no gain except simply completing the rival quest.

Are there 87 event quests? I see 18 days left and we're up to 48 completed event quests -- that leaves about 39 quests to complete the 87 -- will they be doubling up soon or am I missing something in my event quest popup window? I saw web info that suggests 55 rush quests - didn't get those -- and 31 dailies which is what I think I'm doing now. What I'm seeing is in the attached image -- what else should I be looking for or doing? Thx.

Once you pass 10 calendar days collected you get an extra, 21 quest, rushable, questline (with 25 favor per quest completed) that counts towards the 87.

If you have the boosts and event currency, it doesn't really take luck. You can guarantee you'll get one if you follow the steps given by Uber. Still not sure why he says to open 2 or 3 villages before using the boost that shows the show2, 2x, and shuffle. I do it most the time but, but have regretted it before but it does save on the cloud boost.

Only way to guarantee you get the ingot each day is to do a supeboard each day. You can get them from the regular boards but it takes lots of royal favor and or could items and the all seeing eye to do so. Best strategy is to use your all seeing eyes combined with clouds to figure out where the merlin seal is and then use 2x combined with lady of the lake blessing to get 4 merlin seal each time you do that. Sitting there guessing at some villages before using the all seeing eye/cloud items could work out or it could backfire lol

Merlin's All Seeing Eye's are nice to have but (imho) not really cost effective and not necessary in the pursuit of the Merlin Seal's or Dragon Steel Ingot's.
For what it's worth I invested some Valor/Pendragon coin in the boosters "Mists of Avalon & Lady of the Lake Blessings". Each day on my regular board I use the Mists of Avalon to rid the board of lesser rewards until I find and remove the shuffle. After the shuffle is removed my goal is to x2/x4 collect on the Merlin's Seal. Once I have a Superboard secured I stop and wait for the midnight reset and Rival quest. Activating the Superboard after the Rival starts ensures:
a) A daily Dragon Steel Ingot
b) Max rewards to Royal Favor spent, Quick completion/Collection of the Rival quest/Rewards.
For me, the biggest challenges are what to spend my Valor coin on to keep it below the 20 piece purse limit and being patient enough to wait for the next Superboard/Rival Quest with blowing all my Royal Favor chasing superfluous rewards.

For myself I typically open 1 village with Royal Favor then use the Mist's until the Shuffle is cleared. I can understand his thinking on this one, in that you stand to collect some lesser rewards, eliminate some villages without spending Mist's, and on average will probably spend less Royal Favor and Mist's in pursuit of Merlins' Seals.

If you don't use the all seeing eye you will end up guessing wrong on which village has the Merlin seal most of the time or at least a majority of the time, so you will get limited opportunities to even get x2 or x4 on the Merlin seal. So you have a choice of wasting royal favor casting about blindly looking for the Merlin seal or buying the all seeing eyes and cloud items in the event store and spending most of your royal favor on superboards that give better rewards overall imo and also make it so you would need to spend less royal favor on things you don't even have any use or want for.

You are not taking into account that you will miss on guessing where the Merlin Seal is much of the time without combining the Merlin seal with the cloud items. I have managed to get a superboard each day with my strategy and have still bought some other items besides the cloud item, all seeing eye, and the lady of the lake blessing. I have also saved a lot of royal favor by doing this and have gotten most of what I spend back on the superboards to the extent that my total event currency on hand has barely gone down in the past week or so and have gotten the ingot each day too.

First let me say whatever works for you is all good. I would like to point out that I did note the "nice to have aspect" of the All Seeing Eyes, I however beg to differ on the value of spending event currency to get them. I am personally happy with the quantity of All Seeing Eyes I have received from the Event/Rival Quest lines.
I think where I see a departure from your basic play is that having eliminated the shuffle from play on the regular board I am willing to spend my stash of Royal favor opening the remaining towns. Because the All Seeing Eyes don't reveal Valor/Pendragon coin or Merlin Seals I find them less useful in locating those opting for the Lady of the Lake Blessing and Mists of Avalon. Don't get me wrong, when the opportunity presents itself I do use the All Seeing Eyes I have accumulated - but in most instances I find the judicious use of Lady of the Lake Blessings with their ability to double the next pick and as important their Show x2. More often than not, it will reveal another Show x2 or at the least narrow the choices left considerably.
