Hoods will change this week- when you log on Monday morning, you will be in a new neighborhood.

Part of the Problem is the extrem inbalance attacking has over defence. I have seen people ages below me with like 45 attack plunder when i have 250 defence. Be cause the defending AI is brain dead. That and because defenders only get a defence bonus and not attack and defence like attackers

Defenders get an attack bonus as well. There are 3 GB's providing it and another that helps your defence as well.

Why didnt the neighborhood change this last sunday (my time) monday ? i know it did not change last week. I have been bullied and attacked by the same player over and over now going on three weeks. I have asked them to stop and they wont. They got rude in messages so I blocked them ( Ignored) I have tried changing the times that by buildings are ready and nothing works. They continue to attack and plunder relentlessly !! please change the neighborhood like it is supposed to so i can get away from them or move me!!
FIRST, watch your event history when all the PvP END then your neighbors should change. If you still have to same neighbors with NO CHANGE, then put up the road sections around the town hall for the entire week. Remove all of your defense forces because the game system put 216 points defense in for you. You WILL receive city hall coinage and forge points. You can do marketing, relic hunting, tavern and navigation. When ready replace empty road sections with TRAIL sections. DO NOT DO 2 days, 1 day built. Watch when attacks take place, if you can manage an 8 hours build. The better is 4 hours for goods and one hour for production. I do this when a lot of players plunder, I do not mind the attacks. I pull up my roads for along time and nobody attack, had empty event history.

First of all, this is horrible advice, as any experienced player will corroborate.

Second, you are replying to a post from over a year ago.

SL is right, that is the absolute worst action a player can take to mitigate plundering.

That's not cutting off your nose to spite your face bad, it's cutting off all limbs and head to spite your body bad.

----------

Plundering is explicitly within the rules, is encouraged by INNO, and is a successful strategy. Don’t waste your time getting upset at being plundered. Take these steps and you will reduce your losses to a minimum. If all else fails, be patient, hopefully you’ll rotate to a nicer hood in a couple weeks. In order of effectiveness.

TAVERN BOOST CITYSHIELD. Expensive but it does the job.

PLUNDER PROOF YOUR CITY, Have no plunderable buildings.

COLLECT ON TIME. Set your production to finish at a time you know you will be on to collect. Many plunderers will stop attacking if you do not give them anything they can take.

FIND UNPLUNDERAB:E GOODS SOURCES. Babel, Lighthouse, St, Mark’s, Frauenkirche, Royal Albert produce unplunderable goods. Special Buildings, including Wishing Well, Fountain of Youth, and motivated Tribal Square can’t be plundered. Recurring Quests can provide Goods.

MANIPULATE YOUR NEIGHBORHOOD POSITION. Players at the bottom of the hood seldom attack the top players in the hood. Slow down your Tech and Continent growth and put some time and effort into acquiring and leveling GBs. This will move you up higher in the hood.

GET YOUR BUILDINGS MOTIVATED. Switch to 24 hour production, AND reduce decorations, AND increase your friends list AND Aid everyone every day. Motivated buildings can not be plundered. By doing the four steps your houses, supply buildings, and other motivatable buildings will always be motivated. Triple bonus from this: 1) if you miss collection, no big deal, your production is safe until you can collect. 2) Your coin/supply production will go up! Motivation, besides stopping plundering, doubles production. 3) You only have to collect once a day.

PUT UP YOUR BEST DEFENCE: The more units you kill, the less often plunderers will attack you, they will target easier prey. If you are not inflicting any casualties try changing some of the units in your defense. Watchfires, Ritual Flame, some Special Event Buildings, Monastery, Deal Castle, St. Basils, Terra Cotta, and AO help with defence.

COUNTERATTACK PLUNDERERES. If you can, take back that which was yours. Even an unsuccessful attack may dissuade a casual plunderer.

TRY DIPLOMACY. Ask plunderers nicely to stop. It may work. If they want to be paid off it’s up to you, but I’m not a fan of blackmail, giving or receiving.

Good luck,.

Archeology event strikes again!

In case anyone missed Easter, it’s resurrection week in FOE where ancient, dead, long-forgotten threads are brought back to life! You never know what’s going to live again!
