A railroad station, and a set of railroad tracks to be gained during an Old West Historical Quest.

•Railroad tracks can act as roads for buildings that need roads.
•Tracks will be 2x3 or 3x2 with 4 unique corner pieces.
    •Roads may intersect them.
•The Railroad station must connect tracks on both sides of the building.
    •The station will be 4x4.
•The railroad station must be connected to a road, that is connected to the the town hall.
•A complete circuit is required to gain maximum reward. (double goods production).
•To double goods production, You must build a train. (build time 4 hrs, Runs for 24 hrs. build time 8 hrs, runs for 48 hrs...)
•Individual pieces may offer different rewards (FP, metals, coins, happiness, supplies)
•Those who complete the Quest, will have a complete set. Diamond spenders may win duplicate pieces to create a larger circuit. Pieces may be offered individually later on in daily quests.

•In the future, upgrades could be offered to make it a bullet train, with more rewards.

    Abuse Prevention
•Goods production can only be doubled, no matter how many pieces you have it cannot be tripled or quadrupled.
•Only one Railroad station could possibly be earned during the event.

    Visual Aids

Wont it be fun to play with a train set in your world?

doubling goods production? No. - make it a set amount of goods production based on track length. Double goods is too powerful. You'd be looking at something more game breaking then the Arc and that had a legitimate reason to do so with the exponential costs of FPs being so high end game

Also this is double lane size. Just the fact it has to be connected to the town hall should be sufficient. Real trains don't have to be in a closed circuit as long as everything is connected. A straight line should be able to work just as well as a circle

Interesting idea, would make a fun historical questline for all the train enthusiasts out there, but poorly thought out.

Ambitious. Might be a Cultural Settlement proposal more than something that goes in your town. There are also "tycoon" style games for this sort of thing.

Any suggestions for how you would improve it?

Besides not making it a circle unfortunately no. I'm not very good at those types of things.

idk about retro fitting a train into a western which to me would only make sense introducing in the Industrial age. as opposed to focusing on the future aspects. like : shooting rockets into space for goods now that next age will be space age. ala promethium and orichalcum.
    then again. Maybe

First Chapultepec and now this... You guys come up with some amazing concept pieces for the game. The building itself would be a great idea.

I think you should get rid of the tracks entirely. Rather, you might have a set-up similar to event set pieces where the player can place a certain amount of goods buildings around the station- maxing at 4 or something like that. This may or may not exclude other event buildings. As you increase the building count the station produces more goods, supplies, gold, and such. Happiness would increase as well.

The station will only accept buildings from the current era, however, to avoid someone building lumberjacks or the like around it.

You mean The Great Wall of China. Chapultepec is the idea of someone else.

That's what I meant. Chapultepec and this idea are pretty nice concepts even if the details aren't as good. Would be a shame to see it wasted.
