Reporting text issues

Re: Galata Tower

On the "Overview" tab of the Galata Tower great building, one can hover over the level information to get a pop-up "Information about the Bonus" window. When doing so on either the current level (left side) or next level (right side), a portion of text is duplicated in the "Plunder Repel" detail section.

Errant text: "At the next level, the first 2 plunder attempts plunder attempts have a . . . " (emphasis mine).

You should have reported this either in Bug Reports or to in-game support. This thread (according to the OP) is for text/translation issues in Forum announcements.

No, the OP refers to the Announcement

https://forum.us.forgeofempires.com/index.php?threads/reporting-of-text-issues-in-the-game.40758/

It is asking for help with text issues players encounter ingame.

This is done on all language servers. That's why the Announcement may come ove a bit strange. Since the original game language is in English, there are not likely to be translation issues. Just text issues.

I would also like to remind everyone that this is a bug report thread, not a discussion. Any issues you might have with this thread, do not put it here, but contact a mod.

Why is the Virtual Future cultural building called a dragon casino when it has "Phoenix casino" "Welcome" written on it alongside a giant phoenix overtop of it?

In mobile, checking on the space carrier GB overview tab, viewing description details which gets displayed while clicking the question mark icon. In that popup, Rewards bonus information given like repetition.

Myself feeling something is wrong. It looks like copy paste mistake or typo. Surprisingly it is not the same in PC (also PC popup comes by clicking level details given below in the overview tab).

In the Building Menu for the Oceanic Future, for the Oyster Ranch, it says that it is boosted by Coal. To my knowledge, that is not a good in the game. Perhaps they mean Coke?

Yeah that is definitely meant to say Coke. Do you have a screenshot of the error?
Oyster Ranch (Wiki Page)
Goods list (wiki page)
Coal is not a good in the game, but if you go to the Industrial Age Continent Map and hover over the deposit that boosts Coke production, it says Coal at the top. So it is boosted by Coal. Goods buildings are not boosted by goods, they are boosted by deposits. (Unrefined) goods are a required resource for goods productions starting in Modern Era, but that is not the same as a boost.

confusing wording here. quest says "Scout province in the northwest of Hafar Al Karak.
It probably should say "Scout the province northwest of HAK"

"In the Northwest of HAK" indicates an area within HAK.

not a big issue, but it did take me a little bit to figure out what the quest was asking.2021-06-04 07_36_19-Forge of Empires.pngUntitled.png

This pertains to PvP. Since PvP was taken off line in September 2020 to be reworked, anyone joining the game after that date would not necessarily know the historical mechanics of PvP. As an example, I started playing in March 2021, and PvP came back online in May. I had no idea how to assign my PvP army units or what the 'defending army' screen was for. The text says you can 'manage' your PvP defending army, when in fact the forum post announcing the reworked PvP says " Secondly, the button "Defending Army" allows you to change your current defending units." (emphasis added)

Attached screenshot shows the menu dialog stating that you assign/unassign units. I suggest that the text on top of the grayed-out default units be changed to reflect the actual purpose and functionality of the 'defending army' screen, which is assigning/unassigning units to your PvP defending army. This will make it clearer to new users.
