Sit-All Taverns

I know this may be something should have been posted long time ago as well for the aid all buttons/tab. I think the aid all and visit all is a brilliant idea that saves members time in game play, but these options are or going to be in the wrong place. Why would i want to aid peeps that are not aiding back or sitting at my tavern....or even plundering my city. These options should have been added to the events history tab instead. I rarely use the aid all buttons and am still plagued on going through my event history to aid all those who have aided me within the last 5 days. Great idea bad location. More members would use these features if located in event history.

Ahh If you have Friends who do those things? You need new Friends. Ditto Guild members.Almost no one aids all Hood.
Though I have started to aid the Hood via aid all the past few months. I'm in a position that there is really no harm in being attacked anyway.
Using the History tab constantly is just paranoia. I can see using it to remove players who do not aid, perhaps every few months? You create a huge amount of work to assuage your paranoiac fear of 'giving some (tiny) thing away' LoL

No they would not.

So you're saying that instead of an Aid All button and Sit All button on the Social Bar, they should have put "Aid Some"/"Sit Some" buttons in the Event History. Even though neither is an event that happens, but rather an action you take. (Notice that no action you take is ever listed in your Event History. You might argue a GB being leveled is an action you take, but it isn't always. And anyway what you've done is donated the final FP to it, which action is not listed.) Sorry, dude, but I'm betting that the majority of players like it just the way it is. With your "idea" we would have to use the "Aid Some"/"Sit Some" buttons in Event History (where would you even put it in there?) and then go to the Social Bar to aid/sit everyone not listed in Event History. Because most of us are not petty enough to "punish" our friends/guild mates, nor are we living in the distant past when our cities actually needed everyone to aid us. Nowadays, Mass Self Aid items are readily available to players, and Tavern Silver is next to useless outside fulfilling quests. No need to be petty. Just aid everyone in your guild and friends list and sit in all your friends' Taverns that you can and quit obsessing over outdated stuff.

I don't think I'd use it much if it was only "return aid". It'd miss so many people. That said, if you want that as an additional option, i have no issue with that - but please leave the existing implementation alone for those who just want to hit everyone for their seed vault procs :p

I have neither the SV or the TT and I still MoPoT all of my friends, guildies, and neighbors (when I remember them). I use an MSAK daily so I don't have to but I do it anyway. Why? To keep a full friends list for those times when it's crunch-time for quests/tasks. I'm game for any changes they make that reduce my clicking/scrolling by 140-240 a day! Bring it on!! :D

If people on your FL are not aiding ot visiting your tavern, Why not remove them and replace them with active players who will do so. It is not hard to do.

Only people in your hood can plunder you. Their are already notifications in your event history and your city that tells you who has attacked you and plundered you and what they took. So why not attack and plunder them back. Then simply aid the rest.

Having these functions where they are is very convenient. Having them in the Event History Menu would make them time consuming and tedious.

As far as I know the battle filter on the event log only shows that you were attacked and if you have a GT it shows a foiled (repelled) attack. Unless something's changed, plundering and what was plundered is not listed.

It does show if you were plundered. Always has, at least as long as I've been playing. And I'm pretty sure it shows what (type of) building was plundered. I'm about to check all my cities anyway, so if I can verify that it shows the build plundered I will reply to this post with confirmation.

No.. The event log does not show if plundered. Only if the attack was successful or not. plus the replay of the attack. And the tab to retaliate
If plundered the plunder "bandit" icon hovers over the plundered building in the players City until the player clears it.
If The Galata tower repels the plunder, there is no indication, other than in the Galata tower's side tab for all active actions left... of how many protection chances are left.
Sorry, friend, you are wrong on everything except the plunder icon being over the building. The Event History, at least on PC, definitely lists if you've been plundered, and it also lists if a plunder attempt was stopped. And I'm pretty sure it lists which building (or type of building) was plundered if the plunder was successful.

I believe Morrigan was saying if you have the filter set to Battle instead of All Events. Which I think the plunder entry might be a social interaction instead.

But yes the plunder or repel has always been in there as something as long as I've played.

I stand corrected. (And yes, I'd forgotten that if you look at the unfiltered log it showed it. It happens so rarely anymore that....nevermind. LOL) Sorry!
I asked my entire neighborhood to attack and attempt to plunder my supply buildings. Eight attacked successfully (I have 2 Spear defense), 7 attempted to plunder. One was repelled by my Galata. Two plundered buildings other than my supply buildings, four plundered my supply buildings. I was rather surprised at the paltry response, but it did provide me with the evidence I desired. I'm not surprised that anyone would forget that those are all shown in Event History, because plunders don't happen very often, and when they do we don't really care anymore. :)

Ah, but I do care! ...which is exactly why I have nothing in my city that can be plundered unless it's not motivated. I refuse to let them get away with more than that! <muhaha>

I'm curious how many failed at trying to defeat 2 spears. :) LOL

Since we're on the topic of aiding/plundering, I have a random question. I heard that you cannot get bp's if there is nothing to aid but you do get coins. Is this the same with SV? Does it only trigger if there is something to aid?

Iirc, if there is nothing to aid then you get nothing. However, if you have a SV, when there is nothing to aid the SV will reward with coins only.

The Seed Vault's "Helping Hands" chance does not work unless something is aided.
