Socialists in Charge of Inno

DeletedUser

No free speech here in Inno, ... The world is not perfect. If you cannot engage in discussion with opposing viewpoints, then forums and chat are for naught. Bottom line is if you're not a left leaning socialist then Inno will ban you permanently. Pathetic. Devs are German. Have fun bringing a million refugees into your country who will NEVER assimilate to the German culture and values. Nor will they pay any taxes to support the social burden of providing them free stuff from the legitimate taxpayers. A country cannot survive without taxing their people and providing welfare to a million refugees as an added taxpayer burden is untenable unless Germany taxes their own residents at a higher rate.

zook stop. this is mech. you need to stop, bite your tongue, were trying to get you back and your not helping.

DeletedUser15200

I need you to tell me what other worlds I can find you, and try and work this out with inno, your guild and friends want u back in korch.

Mech, If I can't play in Korch, my main world, then I can't play. Permanent ban for espousing conservative values is absolute BS. Tells you that all mods are leftist socialists. Still got 3800W driving 2 15" and and 2 12" speakers in my garage with a Rebel flag and a combat shotgun. Trump for Pres sign in my front yard.

I reckon if someone came in your front yard and started talking about stuff you think is worally wrong to your family you'd ask them to change the subject. And if they kept refusing, I suppose you'd eventually go grab that shotgun and run them off your property. Which is all good. A man has his right to peace and quiet on his property.

So does INNO.

For trouble guests, I recommend sneaking a potent, powerful laxative in their food. After about fifteen minutes they will have explosive, crippling Diarrhea whether they want to or not. Right there on the spot. One minute they will be hostile, then the bubbling *Bloop-bloop-bloop* from their festering intestines, the priceless look of horrified surprise on their face...

As they flee from your front yard, clutching their rears in stone cold fear, praying to every Deity of Containment in a brand new language, please be kind with the ridicule.

An even cursory examination of the Debate Hall forum will prove conclusively that I have....rather strong, shall we say?...Conservative views on most matters (and what views which are not Conservative are Libertarian). I don't try to hide these views nor to tone them down so as to minimize the chance that any snowflakes out there might need to flee to their safe spaces.

And I'm also known to be rather critical of Inno on several issues.

But, to their credit, never once have they tried to silence me nor to compel me to tone things down. Not once. The most I ever received from them was a notification that I had violated their terms for posting rules by including the name of a non-Inno video game in the body of a post I'd made. As 'censorship' goes, that's pretty thin gruel.

But let's also remember a couple of things here: Inno is a private entity, not affiliated (at least I don't think) with the German government. Therefore, unless something in the German constitution forbids private entities from deleting posts- or users for that matter- they are perfectly free to do so. "Censorship" can be performed ONLY by the government (barring unusual laws, which are, of course, possible).

When Mustapha00 looks to me like a moderate compared to the OP...well, lets just say it's tinfoil hat territory.

My guess is the OP was espousing their politics in global chat. Politics and religion are often verboten topics in game chats because of their volatility. I expect anyone, left or right, who launches into a manifesto is not going to be appreciated by moderator staff.

Whether it's true or not, an online MMO video game is not the place for this kind of discussion. I recommend one of the many nice, world-wide chat rooms where you will find a much larger, receptive audience.

It's frustrating to see things and feel like you can't do much about it, but voice an opinion. This is natural, and you should find a different venue to freely express yourself. Inno owns this game, these forums, everything here. We merely lease time, we rent space from the game. They are like landlords in a way, not an art museum or newspaper where all voices and "Freedom of Speech" are to be respected.

Anyway, you look hungry. Want something to eat?

Mightyzook,
I might be the last one on here who should chime in on this one and while I fully agree on your statement, Algona is totally right as well. To be brutally honest with you, we all agree to abide by the rules that this game has put forth to us. That said, while we are all allowed our own opinions on each and every matter, we must remember that this game is after all there's and we are merely just the players here. Having played other games, TRUST ME, I know how you feel and how you manage to put in a lot of time and create many friendships by doing so. Still, it is their game and I am sure if you have an issue I urge you to file a complaint about it. While I cannot and will not comment on my experiences here and on the game, I will say, Jealis and Panacea are pretty fair. We all know I throw around some pretty bold statements from time to time and in the end, we are all here to enjoy the game and have fun with friends.

I suggest you try to work out any and all issues and ask them to assist you. I am sure they will do their best to assist and help you. I am sorry for your frustrations, again trust me on that I know how you feel and I get it, just let others help you and assist you.

All my best and hang in there, sometimes we get frustrated for reasons and then when we take a step back, we get to put things into perspective.

I believe that is criminal battery in most states and comes with the potential of jail time. It is also a civil offense. Worst case, you just gave something to someone that they have a serious adverse reaction to and it could possibly kill them. How about you think before you post.

Maybe I'm missing something, but why are we discussing politics on a computer game forum? There's no shortage of places to go if you want to discuss politics.

I think the main goal of Innogames is to make money. I live in a capitalist country and have worked since I was 13, so I respect those who strive to better themselves and protect their sources of income.
Inno doesn't care what you talk about unless it offends and/or makes potential customers leave and not buy, in the case of FOE, diamonds. so i am sure they hired some people to study why people left and determined acceptable behavior and speech that made the least amount of customers leave and acted accordingly.

So I don't think socialism is the reason. its whats best for making the most profits.

Hahaha...tin foil hat, indeed. What the heck does Inno's being German have to do with the conversation and what does Inno have to do with the German government's refugee issue?? Just because Inno respects the majority of its players enough to not force us to listen to offensive, derogatory and inflammatory "sheople" rhetoric does not make them liberal, it makes them smart business people. Inno could lose paying customers and investors if they allow people to spout off their offensive personal opinions and crusades and create negative PR for the company. I would bet Inno does not want their company to be associated with those types of people since they are often hypocritical, irrational and not very bright.

People's political or social opinions, especially offensive or divisive ones, have no bearing on playing FoE or participating in the Forums and, thus, I am glad Inno bans these offenders or removes their vitriolic posts. This game is a social and entertainment outlet for me...the hate-filled, non-game related blatherings of some angry idiot annoy me and detract from my enjoyment of the game and these forums. I know haters gonna hate but I don't need to read/hear their hatefulness.

Apparently, the OPs momma neglected to teach him this little ditty..."If you don't have something nice (or relevant, constructive, interesting, helpful or funny) to say, shut your yap and keep it to yourself."
