Starting a New Game

I have an established city. Are there any advantages, or disadvantages to starting a new game in a different world?
Like can you trade with yourself if you get goods in city B, you need in city A.?

Nope, no connection between the two at all. The only thing the worlds will share is your diamond count, so if you earn any diamonds in that world it will reflect in the previous world as well. But, that also means that spending any diamonds there will reflect in the previous world too.
