Summer Event 2017 Feedback

i would say the summer event isn't bad at all. Everyone gets free medals wins. i am down to 2 special buildings set, one each. Since this event ends on july 19th, so we get plenty of time to win those special building sets. Overall more medals means closer to the next expansion. I would save up the tickets until you see the special building set you wanted then go for it :)

Apparently in this event, Bazaars and such don't count for the "complete x production 15 times". They always have in past events. I guess these particular quests will take a little longer for me, as I only have room for 3 Blacksmiths. LOL

It's a production building so I wonder why it's not counting, bug maybe?

on the Summer Event, I am so tired of the portraits on the wheel, to me they are no good. I am really disappointed with the event. No chance to get very many SOKs or Rogue Hideouts. Was so looking forward to the Summer Event to get more Soks & Hideouts, was planning on buying diamonds to get them like they were last yr. But with the way it is this year, nope not buying diamonds for it.

I finished the first stage very disappointing i got an S of I got some forge point and boost packages i won a phoenix statue 4 times and all the portraits which are useless I don't have room for this event buildings as they don't give expansions so more stuff to sit in inventory i see the 2nd stage you need to build different building so delete your existing and build it again these events are getting to the point that I don't even want to do them

If INNO has fixed the dupe portrait bug, then portraits are actually not the worst booby prize. Hit it once and you can't win that PoS again. Maybe refresh if it hasn't been fixed?

I managed to stumble on a Wheel with only 1 prize taken, a BP. It had 2 Gold Prizes, the Elephant Garden thingie and RH. Took 13 spins and winning 3 BPs and 3 Sundials but did pick up both Gold Prizes, so mission one for the new City accomplished, got an RH. Now for some SOKs...

Let's see, I have gotten one SoK so far, from an additional, free events, plenty of tickets left that I want to wait until something good comes up.

And it is a Casino event. It is the nature of a Casino game, that (1) the bank always wins, (2) there are useless prizes on the wheel. It is a game.

In addition, I play in two worlds, one PE and one HMA. In my HMA, I don't really care what prizes I get, because most prizes are useful to me. Even coins, even supply. I can use them all. Now, in my PE world, it's different. Most of the stuff is useless, so I need to pay closer attention to when and for what I spin. So, please also don't forget, that there are players in many stages and what is useless for one person, is useful for another.

It's a game ...

I think my only complain would be - I want tickets in the wilderness. That was fun to do. Yes ... :) ...

This was funny, you started off saying how greedy so many players were and chastising them, then you complain yourself about not having any tickets in the wilderness and wanting some...common...make up your mind! :confused:

I have the palace set, it is actually pretty nice. 4x8 for 6fp, coins, supplies, medals (a decent amount too), +2 each same age goods, and several thousand happiness.

Did anyone notice bonus questline has us build 6 decos? Haha finally something to do with all the face of ancient/gate of sun god.

Just saw luau on a wheel, I've seen shrine of awe too. How about SoK, are they anywhere?

The one thing I see when it comes to event buildings is that they could replace other event buildings that we may have gotten. Example would it be better to replace the Cherry Blossom event buildings with this one. I see that you will gain on coins, supplies, etc. You will how ever loose the small amount of attack and defense boost. Not sure if that will make a huge difference. Unless you lay down both sets, then you can think of getting rid of the garden set. Experienced players can correct me if I am wrong. But wouldn't this elevate the need for upgrades or reno kits for these buildings if you just continue to upgrade by getting new event buildings.

One thing I saw with the 1st set is that I can store 2 of my Terrace Farms and open up the space for it.

You'd have to have a truly incredible city to be deleting sets for new sets.

This event turned out great for me so far, I picked up one of each set and when I finish the quests I'll have two maharaja sets chained together. It took 1100 diamonds that I saved to knock it out this early but now I could care less about whether I do or don't get something.

Not at all an incredible city, just space is a premium in the game. Currently I am in LMA and at some point I have too look at the city and wonder how I am going to get 30 upgrades/reno kits to keep them going I also look as I progress and the next event set is it better than what I have without losing to much.

This event is simply a game of chance, as the name implies. If you don't like whats on the wheel just refresh and spin. I have done this twice and came away with a RH and a CR which is not too bad at all.

I wouldn't get rid of cherry for this, considering the atk boost and the fact it's 5x5. Do you have any idea how many fp 5-10% extra is once you've maxed out the 3 attack GBs?

Well, this is embarrassing. Apparently I didn't have my Bazaars actually set for 4 hours, which is why they didn't count toward the quest. Carry on, everyone, I'll be over here in the corner eating humble pie. :confused:

I've won 2 luaus and seen at least six more. Seen one SoK, two SoA, two rogue hideouts (won one), one champion retreat, several bazaars, caravansary, one ziggurat, and then there was one wheel with portraits and fp and THREE spaces on the wheel taken by random bp. It's mixed.

We had a random Greva darn refresh in our hood just now, too. I think that wheel was out of prizes.

If I have this figured correctly, I will get 20 Goods, 9 FP, 64k coin and a bunch of Happy people.

I am sorry others don't like free stuff: I surely do. Good, bad, uguly or indifferent: free is free for a game we all use to pass the time of day. Along with all the parts for both sets I won a Rogue hideout, some FP, and a couple of Sphinx. Yes, I also won some portrates and other items I may never use, but it was all free. Just for doing the Quests. And no, I did not use diamonds to get more spins: my diamonds are for expansions only (though sometimes I heal troops in GE if I have to).
